Chapter 15 Attack

Note:Rex and Lee is the same person.Emma doesn't know that Lee is actually Rex. So don't get confuse.

After waking up the next morning, Rex made breakfast for Aria and himself. During breakfast they made some small talk. Rex asked Aria to create him twin sword .

" Twin sword i can make it but I will need some materials "

" Don't worry about materials , you can go and buy them from the market , Money is not a problem "

After that Rex went to school . He made small talk with Emma. They decided to walk home together as Rex has some thing to talk to Mr NOVA. Today Emma decided to walk home rather than driving the car . Rex knew way she wanted to walk home . its to spend some time with him, but he didn't point that out. As they were walking , suddenly Lee( Rex) felt some tingling sensation in his head. He jumped towards Emma and pushed her down. Just then a bullet passed where She stood .

Emma didn't know why Lee pushed her. When she wanted to ask him. She saw a bullet in her previous position. A shiver ran down her spine thinking if Lee had not pushed her, she would have died here .

Lee stood up and helped Emma. He looked around to search for the culprit. Sure enough there he stood with a Gun with him 10 more persons. They all have water marks on their arms. Lee had read About them they are the Team Shark. A group made of water element users. They will do anything as long they get money.

" Ho.. you have good sense of danger kid"

Lee didn't replied, he pushed Emma behind him and narrowed his eyes at them.

" Ignoring me , boy's water bullet"

As the water bullet hurtled towards Emma and Lee, Lee's quick reflexes kicked in. Ignoring the distraction, he focused his energy and tapped into his Earth manipulation abilities. With a swift motion, he summoned a barrier of solid earth to shield both himself and Emma from the impending attack.

" Are you okay" Rex asked her.

"Ya, Thanks Lee if it wasn't for you then".. Emma started to cry. Lee held her in his embrace comforting her with sweet words.

"It's fine now, Emma. Don't cry. Everything will be alright," Lee said, his voice filled with empathy and reassurance. Emma's tear-streaked face turned towards him, her eyes searching for answers. "But why did they attack me, Lee?" she asked, her voice choked with emotion.

Lee sighed, feeling the weight Emma's distress. "I don't know, Emma," he admitted "But let's not dwell on that right now. We need to get you home and talk to your father, Mr. Nova. He might have some insight into what happened."

Emma nodded, her tears momentarily subsiding. She trusted her father's wisdom and knew he would do whatever he could to help unravel the mystery surrounding the attack. They began their journey towards Emma's home, their footsteps echoing in the quiet street.

Mr NOVA was impressed by Rex. If Rex is by her side than nothing would harm his daughter. After discussing for a few minutes. Rex returnd to his and have Dinner with Aria which she prepared.
