Dungeon Exploration Part 1

It took a couple of days to reach the destination. "So this is the Golden Deer Ruins." said Jessica, amazed of the area she is in. Sure, the place is literally rubbles and most likely fully looted. But there is only one thing she can do, and that is to explore it's dungeon.

Jessica needs to look for the spot that is glowing with mana. Only Jessica can see mana because of her being a Mage. To Jessica, mana is a collection of glowing particles that can form into a blue ball of light. Picking them up will restore her mana more quickly than her Mana Charge. It takes a while before she found the spot. It is behind the throne in the destroyed throne room. Jessica looks up high and sees the red eyes of the golden deer, staring back at her with it's cold eyes.

A system showed up in front of her. It reads:

The dungeon is called "Mystical Tombstone". Exploring the land and defeating the monster boss will net you more experiences and money. Please confirm if you want to enter by pressing the "Confirm" button. We wish you luck.

This dungeon makes Jessica thrilled. She always loved adventuring. She wonders what the Mystical Tombstone actually looked like. She pressed the confirm button and let the mana residue emerge to one being, and to be capable of becoming a portal.

While waiting, the mysterious figure showed up behind Jessica. She gave gentle whisper to let her know. Of course Jessica got jumpscared from that. "Who are you?!" she asked in a panicked voice. "Liang Ri, from Eternal Star Sect." she answered.

Liang Ri, a maiden wearing a pure white garb with a golden dragon scales design on the side, black heels, black stockings, golden stick that holds her long black hair in place. Her purple eyes look majestic and her face is like a super model without makeup. Jessica's first issue with her outfit is the lack of skirt nor pants and the revealing chest. What is the point of that wear? Fanservice?

Liang Ri is observing Jessica using her divine sense. She sees nothing. "You really are a Mortal." she said sounding impressed. Jessica sighed, then asked, "What do you want?" Liang Ri replied, "How did you defeat the disciples of the Summer Tree Sect, whose Realm is Golden Core?"

Jessica looks at her to the eyes and clearly said, "I casted an attack spell against those good-for-nothing delusional men. I tried my best not to kill them and gave them a piece of advice for their sake." Liang Ri seems satisfied with that answer. "Indeed." she said.

The portal is now formed and visible. Liang Ri is surprised. Jessica is about to enter the portal but was grabbed by Liang Ri. "It is dangerous for you. Let me and my sect investigate this." she said with sincerity. Jessica felt the sincerity and gently removed her hand. "There is nothing to worry about." she said confidently.

Liang Ri is hesitating to let Jessica go alone. "If you insist then let me come with you, Mortal." Liang Ri said with resolve. Jessica knows that Liang Ri will be stubborn and will gladly stop her if she rejects it. "Alright Liang Ri, you can come with me." The system showed up in front of Liang Ri for her to see.
