Dungeon Exploration Part 2

The System Reads:

Jessica Torrez invited you to a party. Do you confirm to join the party? Confirm : Cancel

Liang Ri is confused of this strange object. Jessica is as surprised as she. "Wait can you see that?" asked Jessica with curiosity. Liang Ri silently nods. This is new to Jessica. She had never thought that party system exists.

Liang Ri looks at Jessica then asked, "What should I do with this?" Jessica didn't hesitate to say she should press the confirm button with her finger to see what happens. Liang Ri nods then does what she said. Just as expected, she is now a party member.

Jessica could see Liang Ri's name written on top of her head, her hit points, and her Realm. This is strange. Liang Ri's status is entirely different from Jessica's. "What is that on top of your head?" she asked Jessica. It seems that she can also see her status. "What do you see, Liang Ri?" she asked.

"I could see a word, Jessica Torrez, a red bar, a blue bar, and a number." answered by Liang Ri. What she sees is Jessica's name, her hit points, her mana points, and her level. Confirmed, Jessica explained what it is without doubt. Pretty much a stupid move.

"So your given name is Jessica and your family name is Torrez, what a unique name." said Liang Ri, quite intrigue of what she had heard. Well her given name is Ri and her family name is Liang, which is placed in the opposite order. That sums about right.

Now, these two are gonna work together to complete the dungeon. It is agreed to have Jessica lead the expedition but Liang Ri will be attacking at the vanguard, considering she is holding a longsword that suggests she excels in close-quarter-combat. This is good because pretty much Jessica prefers to be in the rearguard where it is the safest. They now step foot into the portal.

The feeling of being warped into another dimension is like being smooshed by a twirling current of water. Jessica is used to it because she did it at least a hundred times. To the first-timers however, Liang Ri is nauseous in the trip. By the end of it, her calm attitude changed to being embarrassed and drunk. She had to vomit which is disgraceful. All Jessica could do is pat her back. Her eyes are so blank and she straight up said, "You'll get used to it."

The dungeon is a dark corridor with the smell of death lingering in the air. There are alot of dried blood splatter everywhere. "Careful, the miasma will eat away your spirit." said Liang Ri while looking around the surrounding. There is only one way forward and there is no way back because there is only a wall. "This is dungeon exploration. In order to get out of here, we need to find the boss room and kill the boss. Oh, you can think that the boss is the leader." explained by Jessica.

The two walked forward. It did not take long until they encountered their first enemy. A skeleton. "Evil shall be destroyed!" shouted Liang Ri as she assumes her battle stance. Her posture is strange. She is holding a two-handed longsword with one hand and it is facing away from the enemy. The skeleton is now charging. It tried to slash her, but she jumped back the moment it swings its sword.

"Cut." she muttered then cuts the skeleton upward. The skeleton is cut in half. Jessica is impressed with Liang Ri's Cut technique. It is a simple move with many variations. It seems it is because the corridor is very wide and the ceiling is high, Liang Ri is able to perform the upward Cut move.

On the way, more skeletons appeared. The theme seems to be the graveyard temple. Liang Ri is focusing on attacking with her longsword. She exerts alot of power with each swings. The notable visual is her downward Cut is the most powerful and most easiest to perform as it relies on the downward force that is pulling the longsword on the enemies.

"I see a door." said Liang Ri upon discovering a suspicious looking door. "Let me take a look." said Jessica. It is a door with a keyhole. Jessica takes a peek through the small slid of the keyhole and spotted a treasure chest. "Bingo." said she happily. The door is fortunately not locked, so there is no need of breaking that door, if it can be break with force.

A dungeon door cannot be broken down because of its rule. They need a key to open it. Jessica tells this information to Liang Ri so she could understand. It is time to open that treasure chest and see what it is hidden.
