" My God..." Link's voice said over her earphones.

" What?" Mio responded.

The case had been opened and Mio had discovered that it was a laptop, with an outlining case.

She hooked up a USB to her laptop and connected to the military grade laptop.

Link then hacked into it, explaining that there was a lot of complicated code and firewalls but eventually, Link managed to fish out some information.

" Mio, this is classified information," Link said seriously, " It's government intel".

" Government?" Mio was shocked, she had expected something but not anything related to the government.

" Yes. It seems to be intel on spies. There are only three operatives that I can access so far, but it seems to be intel on the spies identities..."

Mio's eyes widened, she questioned why Jacob would want information of spies. Unless he wanted to get rid of them for the clan or he wanted government information.

Those were the only reasons she could think of that would lead to him wanting this laptop.

" Crap!" Link said.

" What is it?" Mio was alarmed by Link's reaction thinking that there was more bad news.

" There's heavy encryption that's trying to corrupt my computer. I sent what I dug out now to you but I need to do save my computer! I'll get back to you later."

The call ended and Mio looked at the two laptops in front of her. One was filled with white lines of code she could not comprehend the other had a file sent in.

Mio was hesitant to click on the file, she felt a mixture of emotions; fear and intrigue.

She finally clicked on the file and looked inside.

There were three photos with information on three people.

The first was a middle-aged man by the name of Fan Grey; an undercover operative working within the Snake Gang. He had pale skin, black hair and kind eyes.

The other operative was a female named Alice Ming; she too was an undercover operative whose status was unknown. Her face was round with black eyes and short hair cut just below her jaw.

The last person was only accompanied by a name, there was no photo provided and all the information had been blacked out. By the name Mio could not tell whether the person was male or female, it was simply a code name, Raven.

Mio realised that this information could potentially dangerous to these operatives and could wind up getting a lot of people killed.

A heavy weight seemed to overcome her and she shut her laptop. Got off the bed and tried to find a place to hide the green case. She needed someplace where no one would look, a place hidden in plain sight.

The case was too heavy and slightly too big making it more difficult Mio searched around the room for a good place. There was a bookshelf in her room that was decorated with book and ornaments. Mio looked at it and tried it out.

She unpacked the books and placed the case behind it and then placed the books back. Standing back Mio looked at it, it seemed a bit too obvious and she shook her head meaning to unpack it and try out a new place.

" Miss a knock on the door distracted her", Mio jumped.

" Ah yes?" he voice came out shakily.

" Would you like to have your lunch now?" the maid said and Mio coughed.

" Oh yeah, I'll be right down." She looked back and the bookcase and said: " I'll deal with you later."
