Chapter 30: Planet Yardrat!

Turles's assault on Cooler's frozen body was relentless and unforgiving. With time frozen, he delivered a series of brutal strikes, pounding Cooler's face and unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks to his midsection. Despite the ferocity of the attacks, Cooler remained motionless, unable to register the pain inflicted upon him.

Turles has spent almost an entire decade practicing breathing techniques to further his limits. The average person could hold their breath for around thirty seconds or so. He could hold his breath more than twenty times that. Cooler was stuck with him for a long, long time. Even a single second in a fight like this was crucial—imagine minutes. He knew that every second mattered in a fight of this magnitude, where a single moment could be the difference between victory and defeat.

By the time Turles had to breathe again, he watched Cooler's body break down in real-time. Bruising, swelling, bleeding, several broken bones, and most likely many more major internal injuries. Cooler dropped face-first to the ground screaming in agony while he went back to his base form. The eldest brother of Frieza yelled until all of the air was expelled from his lungs. Then he began wheezing as the seemingly infinite number of attacks that Turles landed on him continued to affect him.

Amidst the aftermath, Turles stood over Cooler's battered body, reflecting on their encounter. "It was fun, Lord Cooler," Turles remarked, placing his hand on Cooler's head and delving into his memories. "I had initially planned to spare you, but your obsession with your inferiority complex towards Lord Frieza sealed your fate. Couldn't you have overcome your pride and shared, just once? I've always served both you and Lord Frieza. If it means anything, i always thought you were cooler."

______________________________________________

Cooler, the older brother of Frieza and the son of King Cold, had a complex personality with both similarities and differences compared to his family members. Like Frieza, Cooler approached problems in a serious and intellectual manner, showcasing his strategic mindset. However, unlike his brother, Cooler wasn't so consumed by his ego and avoided underestimating his opponents.

Cooler's honorable qualities are seen in his interactions with his subordinates, as he treats them with respect and does not abuse or ridicule them like Frieza does. He values their loyalty and offers to personally confront opponents who pose a challenge, earning their undivided loyalty and respect. Cooler is known to consider his subordinates' advice and shows a willingness to work together for the benefit of the team. These qualities contribute to his positive reputation and the loyalty of those under his command.

However, Cooler is still a ruthless killer when it comes to his enemies. He is not hesitant to attack children or launch surprise attacks from behind. He inflicts great harm upon already incapacitated opponents without remorse, showcasing his ruthless nature. He displays an unwavering belief in his own superiority and refers to himself as the "supreme master of the universe."

Regarding his relationship with his family, Cooler has a complex dynamic with Frieza. He sees his younger brother as arrogant, foolish, and a pest, and admits that he would have killed Frieza himself eventually. Cooler perceives Frieza as the "favored" one in their parent's eyes. While they can work together against common enemies, Cooler's resentment towards Frieza remains. He also holds a lack of respect for their father, King Cold, blaming him for spoiling Frieza.

______________________________________________

Turles reduced Cooler's body to nothing. He didn't half-ass like it Kakarot, and give him a chance to merge with the Big Gete Star. There were other plans in mind for that useful mess of tech. Nothing remained of Lord Cooler, not even ashes.

He already knew about the resounding resilience of Frieza's race. Unless you obliterate them, they are still going to be alive. Hell, even Broly survived being shot into the Sun in some forms of media. But that made a little sense, he was the Legendary Super Saiyan.

"This wasn't in my plans, but hopefully, this doesn't make too much of a change. Hopefully, Lord Cooler's scouters aren't connected to the Frieza Force's systems." Turles called his attack ball over with his remote.

Over the years, Naba's engineering prowess has progressed leaps and bounds with Turles's knowledge. She's upgraded their ships, scouters, and equipment with the knowledge Turles shared with her over the course of their universal takeover. Any technologically advanced race had their memories stolen through his telepathy, and he would share the knowledge with Naba verbally. If needed, he could even write it. Thanks to that, Frieza could no longer listen in to their conversations. The wearer of the scouter could record video and audio in real-time and share the location of targets and of themselves with teammates, and the limit of the scouter's power measuring increased significantly.

Although, that data might be outdated by the time he's finished training on Planet Yardrat. By the time he's done there, there will be few in the universe that could match him in power. He could properly begin restructuring the Planet Trade Organization from the bottom to the top with no one to contend with him. If everything goes to plan for these next few arcs, Turles should have made enough time for himself and eliminated enough enemies to prevent anything from going wrong.

Turles punched in the coordinates for Planet Yardrat as he began to rest his tired and weary body. Meditation, tempering his ki, and continuing his breathing exercises. This was all Turles did on his way to the alien planet. He continued to wonder if any of his major plans were affected by the death of Cooler. It was a shame that such a cool character couldn't overcome his fatal flaws, but Turles didn't believe he had the necessary power to help him work through them. After all, Cooler was a part of the Planet Trade Organization, just a different branch of it. His power would have been useful to utilize when he didn't want to do something himself.

And if worse came to worst, Cooler would be a powerful ally for the Tournament of Power especially if he could reach that divine Golden Form just like Frieza. However, Turles never planned for something like that to happen while he was here. He would prevent any negative interactions with the other universes, along with never giving Zeno a reason to destroy their universe.

For a bad guy, he had a lot of work to do just to prevent himself from dying and ensuring that the bad guys won in the end. This universe was so messed up. If only people had the common decency to do their jobs. The Supreme Kai, Beerus, Frieza, and then there was that little ball of chaos called Majin Buu. Turles sighed. He had so much work to do to fix this universe. He hasn't even reached the first step of his plan to conquer the multiverse.

"Daddy!" Turles's spaceship was swarming with three children crawling all over his pod just as he crash-landed on Planet Yardrat.

His eldest quietly but also excitedly waited outside just in front of the spaceship. Turles could sense his squad further in the city. It seems only his children were excited to see him alive and well. Did they have that much trust in him, or were they so stunned they couldn't believe he survived an encounter with Lord Cooler?

When Turles got out of his spaceship, his body was immediately latched on to by Stella, Kress, and Bon. "Ow, ow, ow." Turles was still injured from his fight with Cooler, and this worried his children immensely. They jumped off of him and began to worry for him.

"Pyrona! She can heal, Daddy!" Bon pointed out a name that Turles was not familiar with.

"I'll get her!" Stella ran at her fastest speed to bring this Pyrona person to him. Stella followed after her.

"Daddy hurt…" Kress tried kissing his wounds to make him feel better.

"Thank you, it feels much better now." It stung, but it was the thought that counted. "Basil, come here." Turles directed.

Basil stood close to his injured father. He was taken aback when his father brought him close and hugged him. Frantic but quiet startled noises escaped his mouth, but the warmth of his father's embrace comforted him. Basil felt relief as he wrapped his arms around his father, returning the embrace with a gentle squeeze. Kress inserted himself in their hug as well, not wanting to be left out.

"Did you carry out my orders?" Turles asked despite already knowing the answer.

"I ensured that no harm came to the Yardratians, and they were treated politely and cordially." Basil quietly but confidently replied.

"Mepple didn't cause any trouble, did she?" Turles knew she had a bad habit of pranking people she met for the first time. These pranks varied based on her mood.

"I took care of it," Basil replied, rubbing his left arm.

There were no wounds on his body, but Turles wouldn't put it past Mepple to think of a new way of teasing his son without leaving traces of it on him. Pranks were a good method of character-building for a soft-spoken and gentle boy like his son. It would keep him on his toes and more observant of his surroundings. He may even develop a secret appreciation for it, and it could help him in combat by thinking creatively. But for now, Turles just read his memory by placing his palm on his head.

It wasn't as bad as he thought. Mepple just said some jokes that were in poor taste on the first night that could've soured their relationship with the Yardratians if Basil didn't step in. Level-headed and can make decisions in tense situations. He was growing up well.

"I believed in you. Good work, son." Turles comforted his son after reading his memories.

Basil knew of Cooler. He knew of his strength and position within the Planet Trade Organization, unlike his other children, who were still learning about the company. Turles saw Basil struggling to hold himself together as the new man of the family in case Turles never returned. He put on a brave face and tried to take care of everything involving this mission while secretly mourning the loss of his father. Promising to kill Cooler and eradicate his entire race as revenge for his father. A bit overkill, in Turles's opinion, but he's on a good path. Kids were emotional, they tend to go too far if not properly taught.

"How about you two introduce me to our new friends?" Turles offered.

"Okay, Daddy!" Kress was happy to do so and took the lead by hanging his legs around Turles's neck. "That way!" He pointed with his infinite child energy radiating off of him.

"Okay." Basil released his father and led him toward the city.

"Daddy!!!" Bon and Stella returned with a green shorty that had a candy-shaped head. She staggered and wobbled when Bon put her back on the ground.

"Pyrona! Heal our dad!" Bon demanded.

"Bon, there's no need to be rude to our friends. I'm not in life-threatening danger. There's no need to speak to them that way." Turles reprimanded her.

Bon was stunned that she was being scolded! "But I!" She tried to defend herself, but Turles interrupted her. "I know, you're worried about me. That's not the problem here. I'm not saying that you're wrong for doing that. What I'm saying is that you shouldn't forget your manners. Ask nicely when you want something from someone. The Yardratians are our allies." He reminded her and, to an extent, the rest of his children as well.

"Here you go, Mr. Daddy." Pyrona giggled.

"Thank you, Miss Pyrona. Usually, it's just the kids and Bonyu that call me Daddy. Others call me Turles."

"Your friends and family told me you're all here for training. Is there a need for it? We can sense that you're all quite powerful already." Pyrona wondered.

"We aren't the type to let ourselves get stagnant. I heard of your people's miraculous techniques and wanted to see if we could learn them. I'm willing to trade resources and goods if need be." Turles offered.

"I'll have to bring you to Elder Pybara for something like that… I'm not really someone of importance." She meekly talked down about herself.

"I think you're pretty great, and we just met. Don't be so hard on yourself." Turles stretched as he could no longer feel any aches and pains throughout his body.

"T-Thank you…" Pyrona suddenly vanished as her green face was turning blue. It was Turles's first time seeing the infamous Instant Transmission technique.

"I feel better than ever now," Turles reassured his kids.

I guess Bon and Stella took this proclamation as a go-ahead to slam right into him and hug him with all of their strength. The force of their hugs nearly took out Turles since he wasn't using his ki to protect himself. Eventually, he walked toward the city with his children latched on to him and next to him. He was rather excited for this training. Spirit Control… Just imagine all of the amazing techniques he could create once he masters this. Healing, Gigantification, Cloning, Instant Transmission, and Force Spirit Fission were only the beginning if Turles had anything to do with it.
