7. My adventures in Afghanistan

I opened my eyes in a very uncomfortable bed. I leaned over to grab some water and made some noise.

Yinsen: "Good you're awake. I didn't think you ever would."

I sat up and looked to my right to see him shaving. "That was by design. Where are we?" - "In a cave. Somewhere, where no one can find you." - "Okay. Where I want to be." I want to leach in my pocket to realize I don't have my suit on. "Do you know where my clothes are?" - "They took it off you when we tried to wake you up. You heal extremely fast. How's that possible?" - "A serum I finished."

I got to look around.

Yinsen: "You know we met once. At a technical conference in Bern." - "I remember. It was brief due to me being on a mission." - "Yes I remember. Ms. Hansen if I'm correct." - "Yep. Hey do you know if there's guards outside these doors?" - "Most likely. But don't do something stupid."

The slide opened and the gaurd started to speak a different language.

Yinsen: "Get over here and do what I do."

I walked next to him and held my hands above my head until they walked in. That's when I slowly started to emit smoke which made them put their gaurd up. But as soon as the smoke touched the ground it fired at them and up to there faces like a rocket making them fall to the ground.

I put my hands down and walked to the door like I owned the place, which I will shortly.

Yinsen: "What did you just do?" - "Me? I put them to sleep." - "How can you do such a thing without touching them?"

I smiled, waved my hand and the bodies moved against the walls. "Magic. It's a wonderful thing. Now. If you stay here I'll be right back.

With the Extrimis Nanites I have in my body I can control Technology so with a thought I direct one of my satellites towards me to try and look inside the cave to see who's, where but unfortunately they where good in where they chose there cave. It's a blind spot.

"Fine I'll go in blind."

I go around the corner and take out one before another starts to fire. I hold one one hand to have a shield up and I advance to him, then touch his head and knock him out.

"9 down. Who knows how many to go."

I easily go though everyone as I make my way to the security room.

I round the corner to be meet with 8 armed men yelling at me, I don't understand them, but I'm guessing it's to stand down. But sorry. Not going to happen.

I shoot my arm out and all there guns glow blue and go straight up Embedding themselves into the ceiling.

They fall to there knees begging for there life. I ignore them as I look and find my suit. As I pull out my watch pne of them got cocky and tries to punch me. I turned, then caught his fist. I see his smile instantly fall. I bring his arm behind his back then up to his head dislocated his arm from the shoulder.

I haven't really used hand to hand in a while but I was in the army and learned some he's tricks while learning sorcery.

"Are we all going to surrender now?" They all shook Their heads profusely. "Good. Now go to sleep."

Like every other time. Blue mist came from my hands to the ground and out them all to sleep.

I put my watch on, then changed, once back into something comfortable I made my way outside. Outside the security room I made my watch into a gauntlet that open up to a Expansion bag.

"I'll never got tired of magic." I pulled out a round Nanite reactor and put it under my shirt. "At least I can finally wear this all the time now." My gauntlet turn back into a watch as I made it to the cave opening.

More men then I'd like to count are pointing a gun at me. "I'd really like to keep this Quiet. I don't want to call the US here. Well for at least a few months." No one lowered there gun so I took that as a no.

{Nebulus} dense fog swarmed the whole camp.

I formed glasses and went into inferred mode, then quickly and quietly took them down one by one. Putting them to sleep.

"I need to alter there memories before I leave. The ones I leave alive don't need to remember I have magic. I want to play it off as Technology, so if I don't have a suit on it's hard to do that."

I walked back in the cave all the way to where I woke up at to see Yinsen sitting on the bed confused.

"I can see you're confused." - "That's a understatement. What's going on Stark." - "You might not believe me but I know you, and I know you're trustworthy, so I'm just going to tell you a shortened version. I have magic and can see the future so I made sure I got captured to make the world think I might be dead. But I mostly want my Uncle to think so." - "Why is that?" - "So when I show back up in a couple months he'll see his plans aren't working and get desperate. You see I know he had my parents killed to try and take over my company."

He got up and grabbed some water. With a glance I turned it into tea.

He looked at it weird before he took a sip. "It's good." - "Thank you. You know I expected more of a reaction."

He sat the cup down and it changed back. "Honestly. It hasn't fully kicked in yet. That's probably why. Whats getting me the most is that you. Tony Stark. Probably one of the most televised and talked about person in the world. Has such a big secret."

I smiled. "If you think magic is cool. Look at this suit I made. Most of it is sulky science based.

My shirt opened and from the reactor a nano suit was formed. [Looks like Mark 7.]

"Cool right. I felt nostalgic, so I went old school on this design."

Without a single word he got up and walked around me staring at my suit. "I don't see a break where plates of the suit connects with each other." - "It's made of Nanites. That's why it looks seamless. Because it is. I've been working on these suits since I was 17. Made my first nano suit in the early 2000's." - "You have truly outdone yourself. It's fantastic." - "Thank you. Now. I can make a portal to send you anywhere you want or you can stay here with me and help me." - "What are you working on?"

I waved my hand and a blanket with some rods came out of a portal. They all glowed blue and Assembled themselves as a tent.

"I've been working on a fully body hardlight shield for a few months. I tested it out on the Soldiers that were with me when I got captured and it worked, but there's some problems I'd like to fix. I want to stay here for about three months. So I have three months to do whatever I want. So I figured why not work on it."

He looked around. "How do you plan on working on it here? You have nothing to work with?"

I grinned as I opened the flap to the tent. "Why don't you come in a find out." I stepped in my self and watched as last few machines boot up. I turned around and held out my arms as Yinsen walked in. "Welcome to my Mobile lab. This is a place were the inside are bigger than the out."

He sat down on the stairs leading out. "I-I, I truly don't know what to say anymore. But you do have my interest peaked. I'd be a fool to leave when you can do all of this." - "Good. Jarvis. Get out good friend here room ready." A blue hard light holographic human that looks like our old butler appeared in front of me. "Right away sir. This way Mr. Yinsen."

He got up and just smiled as he got led into the guest bedroom."
