Chapter 33: Black Eve & The most shameful lost

Marcus had started training Diana in combat. She knew how to fight but she did not know how to use Haki properly. It was technically his fault as he never told people all the use of Haki. He just granted them the ability to use it and gave them little ideas on how to train Haki.

They usually met once every week to train but that could change depending on each other's schedules. He was about to go to their usual meet-up when she texted him. The League had sent an emergency call to which she had to answer thus they had to reschedule. He was not thrilled by it but that changed when he went to his office and an alarm rang.

He had put a special alarm that would notify him whenever Invincible would be fighting a strong opponent. He brought his sofa and popcorn along with a drink and watched the show.

Invincible was flying across the city with Raven. They were patrolling to see if anyone needed their help. Nothing major happened for the first few hours. A few robberies, an attempt of arson, and one hostage situation but nothing they could not handle. They decided to take a break.

After twenty minutes, they were about to head out when something hit Invincible and flew him outside of the city into the forest. Raven was shocked and worried. Usually, Invincible would be able to predict an attack coming even if it was from behind and it was a silent attack. She was worried as she knew Invincible was not as tough as he used to be, and this could very well be a fatal attack on him.

One of the things that Invincible did not possess from his original counterpart was an experience in battle. Sure, he knew more about Haki than almost anyone but that did not stop him from making a grave mistake. He let his guard down.

No matter how strong one's Haki is if their concentration is shaken anyone gets to lend a hit by a surprise attack. He had spent the entire month fighting weak opponents and it allowed him to lose focus and get distracted as he did not feel the need to be on guard against anyone he fought recently. What the teenage duo did not realize was that every villain they had fought for the past months was precisely meant for this occasion.

Raven flew towards the forest and saw Marcus gravely injured fighting a tall, muscular man clad in black clothes and a yellow lightning symbol on his chest. It took a second for her to realize it was the villain known as Black Adam.

Invincible: For someone that looks so intimidating a sneak attack is considered pretty low don't you think?

Black Adam: *Hmph* This should not have hurt you in the slightest considering you're a Viltrumite yet you are. Either I have drastically overestimated Viltrumite or you grew weaker.

Marcus: Yeah, it's the second one. Marcus didn't like that I sent him flying through buildings for no reason, so he sealed a few of my powers.

In his response, Raven and Black Adam had one thought. He had told his enemy that he was weaker than usual.

Raven/Black Adam: 'H-h-he's an idiot!!!'

Invincible had several broken ribs, his left arm was broken yet he had a smile on his face. Raven saw that and knew that he was not afraid of Black Adam. She knew how strong Black Adam was and it terrified her at first but seeing her teammate smiling gave her courage.

Black Adam dashed towards Invincible. Invincible rushed at him with his right arm covered in Haki. He used Shigan with his five fingers in a shape like Sabo dragon claws.

Invincible: 'Dark Dragon's Claws: Chasing Grip'

He did not say the name of the technique as he was fighting seriously. Black Adam saw a dragon claw coming at him. He flew in the air, but it chased after him until it grabbed his chest which began to squeeze. Black Adam was surprised by the chase but more so by the pain that followed the grip.

Black Adam: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

He fell to the ground. His chest was bleeding and there was a mark on it. It looked like a reptile clawed him, two claws downward and one upwards. When he got up, he was enraged and threw lightning at Invincible, who would have dodged it if not for Raven blocking it with her magic. They started fighting Black Adam as he fought seriously.

Raven managed to immobilize Black Adam, he freed himself after a few seconds but that was all Invincible needed to close in on him. He made a dragon claw with his right hand and clad it with Haki but not a simple armament as last time. This time, it was clad with internal destruction, Ryuo, Haki as well Haoshoku Haki.

Invincible: 'Dark Dragon King's Claws: Imperial thrust'

This sent Black Adam flying through the forest. Invincible had put all his power into this attack and knew it would defeat Black Adam. He rushed towards Raven as she was exhausted by the fight. Defending against Black Adam's attack took a lot of strength from her.

When he saw that she was fine he sighed. That was his second mistake of the day. Black Adam slammed his fist at Invincible head. He flew towards a tree and broke three before hitting the ground. Black Adam was pissed that a couple of kids could injure him this much. He walked towards Invincible to pummel him into the ground, but he could only hit him a few times before Raven blocked his attack with the remaining energy she had.

Black Adam saw this and went towards Raven. He grabbed her head and squeezed it until she yelled. He brought her head towards his knee, which was going upwards fast. His knee hit her face a few times before hearing a loud step behind him. He could see his shadow in front of him and knew there was no one behind him but it felt like a giant was behind him and he could feel the giant's shadow. He dropped Raven's head and looked behind. He saw no one, he was relieved for a second before looking down and seeing Invincible with eyes completely covered by shadows.

He was about to insult him when he felt Invincible's back fist on the side of his guts. He heard glass breaking. He was sent through the forest once again, but he came to his senses. He coughed a lot of blood and saw Invincible was in front of him. Invincible placed his right foot on Black Adam's right arm and his left foot on Black Adam's left arm. He brought his right hand to Black Adam's face and grabbed it. A sudden transparent bubble formed around his hand and grew. It grew to cover Black Adam's face then his torso, then his whole body. It kept going until it had covered a good portion of the forest then it started to shrink.

Black Adam saw that it was shrinking when the bubble was visible in his line of sight but every single cell in his body told him one thing. 'RUN!!!!' Sadly, he could not as the look in Invincible eyes froze him. Marcus saw this and knew that if that attack was unleashed half the world would break at best. He quickly left his sofa and went to grab more popcorn. He was not going to interfere with his favorite show. If worst came, he would just rewind time and stop Invincible at the last second. That was his reasoning but, he wanted to see the attack happen.

Invincible was about to unleash it when he felt a hug behind him. It was Raven, the good thing about being half-demon was that she healed fast.

Raven: I'm okay! You don't have to do this I'm okay. Look at me. Look at me, I'm okay! Everything is going to be okay.

She held Invincible's cheek while saying that. This manages to calm him enough to stop him. Black Adam was relieved and took a moment to sigh but that would later be his greatest regret. Invincible had a lower amount of luck than Marcus but he still had luck and he currently still hated Black Adam as he could still see blood on Raven's face. He was about to walk away with raven when he tripped on a rock, he lost balance and fell backward. His right hand landed on Black Adam's family jewels. Invincible had yet to release his previous attack although Raven had calmed him down and thus lowered the intensity, the attack was still there and upon contact with Black Adam, a crips glass breaking was heard before and a high-pitched yell followed it. Marcus saw this as well as the dozens of camera crew that came in a helicopter after the bubble started expanding.

Marcus: Well, no more Black Adam, it's now Black Eve, I guess. BAHAHAHA!!

Marcus had given himself devil fruit power after creating them, he also gave a few to Invincible to spice things up. He later held a press conference as there were a few critics about how both almost died.

Marcus: Both are recuperating, and it will take a doctor's approval before they are cleared for any more Hero's duty.

Random report: Don't you think it is dangerous to let KIDS fight someone like Black Adam?

Marcus: Well Black Eve- I mean Black Adam attacked first. Here at Vought, we ensure that they have what it takes to survive such a thing if it occurs while their HELPING PEOPLE IN NEED!

Marcus knew that this was a minion of someone that wanted to lower Vought's reputation. I guessed that their plan was for Black Adam to win which would result in the public saying he put kids in danger. That would also be started by whoever was behind Black Adam.

The reason why Marcus started to refer to Black Adam as Black Eve was because the last attack completely broke his manhood. Once it was revealed by the doctors, this news was published as it was a piece of hilarious news that would attract many readers.

The heroes that read this were laughing but not as hard as were the villains. Black Adam had ambushed two kids, and not only did he lose but he lost in the most humiliating way they ever heard. Villains like Deathstroke were grinning for days because of this.

Only Batman and the Light stayed the same as they were more interested in what Invincible used at the end of the fight. Readings showed that when he back fisted Black Adam, an earthquake happened. They knew from their respective source that Viltrumite did not have the ability to generate earthquakes which led them to one conclusion after many hours of analysis. IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE DEVIL FRUITS!!!
