Chapter 5: Fight Against Kiana

"Villain! Prepare to face the justice of this lady!!!" A high-pitched and cute voice rang out, grabbing Itsuki's attention. He quickly turned his head towards the source.

His eyes widened as he saw a familiar figure: a lovely and cute woman with white hair tied in twin big braids. She wore a T-shirt and shorts showing her smooth, white thighs.

Her body, neither too slender nor too plump, appeared perfect to everyone's eyes, enhancing her beauty in the eyes of all who saw her.

The girl had an angry expression on her face, which, instead of intimidating everyone, made her look even cuter, including Itsuki.

Who else could this girl be but Kiana Kaslana? The main protagonist of the Honkai Impact 3rdworld, who had yet to become a strong Valkyrie or Herrscher!

Itsuki was genuinely surprised to encounter Kiana. He thought their meeting would be much later, considering he was a nobody in this world.

But fate had other plans, bringing them together sooner in this unexpected situation.

Seeing Itsuki's lack of reaction, Kiana grew angrier, though she felt a sense of pride seeing Itsuki stand frozen, fascinated by her beauty.

Without thinking twice, Kiana rushed toward him. With her superhuman physical abilities, characteristic of the Kaslana clan, it didn't take long for her to reach him. She leaped and launched a kick toward his head.

So fast!

Itsuki quickly stood and reacted, but Kiana's speed was too great. Unable to dodge, he crossed his arms to defend himself.

THUD!

The sound of a hard impact was followed by the crack of bones, and someone was sent flying into a wall with great force.

BANG!!!

"Cough!!!" Itsuki spat out blood and slumped against the shattered wall.

It hurts like hell! What was that overwhelming force just now? It felt like a truck hit me at full speed!

Itsuki gritted his teeth in pain, feeling the agony throughout his body as he struggled to stand.

Luckily, my cheat also gives me the muscle memory of my counterpart. Otherwise, my old self would have passed out from this level of pain.

He felt grateful for his cheat's functions, despite its severe drawbacks. Fortunately, the advantages balanced out the disadvantages.

Both my arms are broken now. It's a good thing I protected my chest, or it would have been shattered.

His eyes glanced at his numb, excruciatingly painful arms. Even the slightest movement made the pain worse.

He exhaled deeply, knowing his situation was highly disadvantageous and dangerous. Yet, his face bore a spirited smile.

Seeing Itsuki stand up, Kiana was surprised. Usually, people she kicked were instantly knocked out or collapsed, so this was the first time someone had gotten back up from one of her kicks.

"Why is he smiling so enthusiastically after being attacked by me? Did my kick hit his head so hard that it made him lose his sanity?" Kiana wondered aloud, puzzled by Itsuki's expression.

Itsuki's lips twitched at her comment. He didn't expect to be considered insane after just being kicked by Kiana.

Shaking his head, Itsuki quickly rushed forward and attacked Kiana with a punch. However, Kiana easily dodged it thanks to her experienced fighting instincts.

As Itsuki's attack was avoided by Kiana's sidestep, she immediately lifted her leg and delivered an uppercut kick to Itsuki's chin.

THUD!

"KUGH!" he groaned instinctively in pain, his consciousness fading for a moment before quickly recovering thanks to his superhuman body. He jumped back to distance himself from Kiana.

She's dangerous! Kiana is incredibly dangerous! I didn't expect to almost lose consciousness from her attack just now!

Itsuki's eyes grew more serious, but inside, his blood was beginning to boil from the intensity of the fight.

Clenching his fists tightly, Itsuki rushed forward once again, launching a barrage of attacks, including punches and kicks, utilizing all the martial arts he had learned.

Each strike carried the intent to incapacitate or kill. If an ordinary human were on the receiving end, they would undoubtedly be severely crippled or dead from Itsuki's relentless assault.

Unfortunately, this did not work on Kiana. Thanks to her unique innate superhuman abilities from the Kaslana clan and her fighting instincts honed since childhood, Kiana easily blocked and dodged the attacks.

Moreover, she counterattacked with her unique gunfighting style, a hallmark of the Kaslana clan.

Unfamiliar with this fighting style, Itsuki struggled. His body took several hits, resulting in multiple broken bones from the superhuman force of Kiana's attacks.

THUD!

"KUGH!" Itsuki groaned in pain as his body was thrown backward after blocking a powerful punch. His body was covered in numerous wounds and severe bruises, yet he stood strong like a mountain, unwavering in the face of any disaster.

His breathing was ragged, and his condition was so poor that even Kiana, his opponent, felt a bit of pity and considered stopping the fight.

However, Itsuki did not want the fight to end. With his usual enthusiastic smile, he said, "Don't pity me, beautiful lady! I'm still not satisfied with our fight!" Itsuki shouted, surprising and impressing Kiana with his strong resolve.

"Why are you pushing yourself so hard?" Kiana asked, bewildered. She couldn't understand why Itsuki was so determined not to lose this fight.

"Heh? Curious, are you? Let me tell you, fighting makes me stronger!" Itsuki replied with a grin on his face, clenching his fists as he felt his body becoming stronger than before.

Each time his body endured an injury or heavy stress, his adaptive ability automatically kicked in, immediately strengthening, speeding up, and hardening his body!

Gradually, his reflexes began to adapt and get used to Kiana's speed, allowing him to start dodging her attacks.

It might not take long before he could turn the tide, pressuring and ultimately defeating Kiana!

"Get ready, beautiful lady! I'm going to be more serious this time!" Itsuki said before launching himself like a speeding missile.

"What?!" Kiana was taken aback by Itsuki's increased speed but quickly reacted to anticipate the incoming attack.

Itsuki threw a punch at her head. Kiana leaned back to dodge it, but it wasn't over yet; a kick aimed at her legs followed swiftly.

The faster attack caught Kiana off guard, hitting her leg and causing her to lose balance, making her fall.

Not giving her a chance to recover, Itsuki's fist came down and aimed at her head. Fortunately, Kiana reacted in time, rolling to the side and avoiding the punch that only hit the ground.

BOOM!

A loud sound echoed as Itsuki's powerful punch cracked the ground. He clicked his tongue in frustration at his failed attack.

Meanwhile, Kiana broke into a cold sweat, her eyes wide with disbelief and a hint of fear as she stared at Itsuki.

What the hell is this guy? His speed and power have increased drastically! I was caught off guard and almost got seriously hurt!

Kiana thought, unable to believe Itsuki's sudden change. It made her wonder if what he said about getting stronger through fighting was true and not just empty words.

She stood up, now more serious than before. Itsuki, seeing her determination, felt satisfied; the fight had just become more intense.

"Come on! Hit me harder!" Itsuki rushed at her again with a crazy grin on his face. Kiana was now fully alert, ready for the next attack.

Itsuki launched a high kick. Kiana quickly sidestepped, but Itsuki expertly redirected his kick towards her mid-motion.

His kick struck Kiana's ribs, sending her flying a short distance and making her groan in pain.

Damn! I never thought he could change the direction of his kicks!

Kiana thought as she recovered and stood up, holding her ribs and gritting her teeth in pain. Fortunately, her superhuman physique provided her with incredible endurance, allowing her to withstand the attack and recover quickly.

It seems this lady can't stay on the defensive! It's not good to keep getting attacked! This lady will attack him now!

Kiana decided to launch her attack, using the Kaslana Gunfighting style that had troubled Itsuki earlier.

Head!

Itsuki thought, and sure enough, he saw Kiana lift her leg, aiming a kick at his head. He quickly ducked to avoid it.

Now the solar plexus!

He sidestepped, dodging the incoming punch, and immediately counterattacked by raising his leg and delivering an uppercut kick to Kiana.

THUD!

Kiana was stunned as the kick landed hard on her chin, causing her jaw to clench with a loud crack.

"Now take this!" Itsuki shouted, his fist clenched tightly. His movement mirrored Kiana's previous attack as he aimed his punch at her solar plexus.

Kiana, unable to react in time, took the fatal blow. The intense pain wracked her body, sending her flying.

BOOM!

Just like before, Kiana was hurled across the distance, crashing into the wall much like Itsuki had earlier. She lay there, her body wracked with pain.

"Cough! Cough!" She coughed, staring at the blood in her hands. The blow had been so severe it caused her to cough up blood.

"Well, well, well, look at our situation now. Familiar, isn't it? This is exactly what happened to me when I took your first attack," Itsuki chuckled, walking slowly toward Kiana.

"D-damn it!" Kiana cursed as she forced herself to stand, hissing in pain as every movement sent waves of agony through her chest.

"Don't think you can beat this lady with just that attack! I'm tougher and stronger than you think!" Kiana declared, getting back into her combat stance.

"Is that so? Well then, good," Itsuki said, also assuming his combat stance. Kiana's eyes widened at the sight.

This! Why do I feel like I'm seeing my reflection in him?! Wait! He just attacked me with my own moves. Could it be that he can copy movements? That's why it feels like I'm facing a mirror!

Both charged at each other simultaneously, launching their attacks. However, it was clear to everyone watching that the battle favored Itsuki as his attacks always landed on Kiana while he effortlessly dodged and blocked her strikes.

There was a unique sight that could surprise any observer: every time Itsuki dodged an attack from Kiana, he countered with the same move he had just evaded or blocked.

This infuriated Kiana, but there was nothing she could do. Her attacks always failed, and she constantly received blows from Itsuki.

Kiana tried desperately to attack with more strength and speed, but it didn't work. Somehow, Itsuki always anticipated her moves, as if he knew exactly what she was going to do next. This left her feeling incredibly desperate.

It was thanks to Itsuki's super intuition. By familiarizing himself with Kiana's attacks through his intuition, Itsuki managed to learn the pattern of each of her strikes and even mastered her movements, making him seem like a mirror image of Kiana.

This was why Itsuki was unbeatable in any fight, no matter how difficult. In the end, he would learn and recognize his opponent's attack patterns, making it impossible for them to land a hit on him.

Eventually, after a relentless exchange of blows, Kiana was severely injured. She inadvertently broke her guard, leaving herself defenseless against an incoming attack.

Kiana's eyes widened. She tried with all her might to move, but her body wouldn't respond. She could only watch helplessly as Itsuki's powerful fist approached her head.

Kiana closed her eyes, already imagining the worst—that she would lose or, even worse, die from the attack that felt much stronger than before.

But for some reason, she didn't feel anything. Only a rush of wind hit her. Confused, she opened her eyes and saw Itsuki's fist stopped just inches from her face.

W-what? I didn't die? Did he feel pity for me?

Kiana wondered in her mind, while Itsuki glanced to the side as his intuition warned him that something very bad would happen if he followed through.

It must be Siegfried. So, the rumors were true that Siegfried always secretly follows Kiana wherever she goes.

He guessed this from his observations after reading several Honkai fanfics in his previous world, which suggested that Siegfried never fully abandoned Kiana.

And he knew Siegfried would go berserk if he killed Kiana here. He could feel the intense, frightening killing intent since he first managed to injure her.

Well, I wasn't going to kill Kiana anyway, just knock her out! After all, she's my waifu and the main protagonist in this world.

Itsuki thought to himself. He wasn't heartless enough to kill his waifu, especially since their fight wasn't born out of a serious conflict warranting such an extreme outcome.

"Stop! This is the police!" a loud voice called out. It seemed the police, alerted by people who heard the commotion, had arrived.

Quickly, Itsuki bolted, leaving Kiana still in shock. Fortunately, she recovered, gritted her teeth, and decided to follow Itsuki.

(A/N: If you're still confused about the MC's abilities, just think of him as having powers similar to Garou's. However, instead of Garou's learning ability, he has super intuition.)
