Dumbledore looked at the Basilisk, and asked me, "Will she be angered, if we called a few Aurors to take her statement, and collaborate on the story. This way, we could work for an acquittal for Hagrid."
I nodded, and said, "Sure, go ahead."
He then talked to Amelia, as a few Aurors came in an hour. They were all the senior most Aurors, and came for a report, when they heard it is related to the long list of crimes of Tom.
It took all of evening, as they were all stupified, at the sight of sixty feet snake lounging on the grounds, while Hagrid was helping me wash the grime and dirt off her hide.
She was a snake, but her skin was more like a dragon, as there weren't large scales on her body, but leathery hide. She still apparently molted, and her body would get all itchy when she molts.
The Aurors were further shocked to see a nine year old boy washing the snake and helping her get the itchy skin off.
Seeing her molted skin fall to the ground, the Aurors wanted to ask about the details, and when they asked about the Acromantula, I interrupted them.
"Why don't we ask the large spider himself?"
Saying that, I brought them with me, to the Acromantula nest, where Aragog was subdued, due to smelling the Basilisk on me.
"Why did you bring that accursed serpent out of its prison?"
I looked at him and smirked. "Your kin were growing too much in numbers, and needed to be culled. So I decided to let her get her stomach full, and enjoy some fresh air. And if you think, you can escape the forbidden forest, then think again. Any creature of the forest, who cannot fly, won't be able to escape from the forest now."
He looked at me in hate, and said. "You are just like your kin. You want to end our kind, you blasted snake."
I blew raspberry, like a matured adult, and told him. "I know, you are nearing the end of your lifespan, I will promise on my magic, to bring five of your biggest children, when you are dying, and offer them sanctuary on my land. They can flourish, and grow and thrive. But those of you children who live here, will be fair game for the Basilisk."
He grudgingly agreed. "I will agree, but with one condition. She will never attack me, as long as I don't oppose her."
I agreed, and made the oath, and lit a light on my finger.
The Aurors watched the giant spider, who spoke English, with awe, and asked the Acromantula, "Are you the creature responsible for the death of the little girl?"
The spider replied with a sneer. "You have the girl's killer in the school, while Hagrid kept me in the box, that I knew. Ask the serpent, how she killed the girl."
The Aurors looked ready to leave, but I answered. "She was forced into slavery by Voldemort who did Blood Magic, because he was the Heir of Slytherin, and the Basilisk was forced by magic to obey her master. Salazar Slytherin made her to protect the castle and the students, just like the other four founders did. But Voldemort did his best, to defile her purpose and her duty."
The Aurors noted that, but asked with a sneer, "How can a little runt like you know all that?" I flew in his face, and turned into a Basilisk, while keeping my eyes closed.
I then ducked the idiot who cast a spell at me, and turned into a human, chokeholding the idiot. "It is because of reckless humans like you, that other magical creatures attack the humans on sight. If I was not bound by the laws of men, I would offer you as a meal to Aragog for your impudence."
I looked at the others, as they lowered their wand, and one of them asked me. "What are you?"
