SEE, HOW LUCKY I AM FOR YOU

After getting fresh, and changing her clothes, when Zeva came back to the living room, she blinked seeing that Lia had fallen fast asleep. She walked near her, and chuckled seeing how cutely she was sleeping. 

Then Zeva gently picked up the little girl in her arms, who nested herself even more comfortably according to her, and murmured something incomprehensible and fell back sleep.

Zeva patted her back, and then took her to the bedroom, before laying her on the bed.

Late at night, Lia was woken up by some muffled sounds. When she woke up rubbing her eyes, she saw Zeva sitting in front of her laptop, giggling and laughing with her eyes wide while covering her mouth tightly.

"What happen? Why are you smiling late at night like a possessed person?" Lia said yawning. Then looking at the laptop, she gave a side eyed narrowed look, and asked, "You are not watching something inappropriate , are you?"

"…" Zeva pursed her lips and said, "For God's sake, Lia! You are still a baby. You must not speak this things."

"Then why are you grinning like a cheshire cat?" she asked.

"Oh this!" Zeva said, "I have a good news! A really good one."

Excitement dripped out of Zeva's voice.

"What good news?" Lia too turned interested, as sleep went vanishing from her eyes.

" I…" Zeva drawled before saying, "I got a chance for admission in my dream university!!!" She squealed.

Zeva looked really overjoyed, and she said, "And do you know, it is best university not only in the capital city, but the leading university in the country."

Hearing the news, Lia's eyes widened too, and she too became happy for her human. Looking at her, she smirked proudly and said, "See, how lucky I am for you. Ever since, I came in your life, everything is going so well for you."

Zeva raised her eyebrows and smiled at her, before pulling her into her arms all of a sudden and hugging her tightly. As if this sudden showcase of love was not enough, she even placed a kiss on her face.

"…" Lia turned red at so much love shown by Zeva all of a sudden. She woudn't lie, but she actually liked being loved like that.

Then Lia asked, "You tell me, what do you want to study?"

"Uhm, I want to pursue my higher studies in business. And this university is one of the best for it." Zeva said with a glee.

Lia nodded, and then asked again, "So, the fees structure might also be very high, isn't it?" For a moment, Zeva felt as if Lia had turned into her mother figure, nibbling and questioning every other thing.

But she was complaining at all.

Zeva nodded and said, "Uhm, yes. Of course, the fees structure is quiet high. But we don't have to worry about it, isn't it?" Zeva grinned at Lia. Lia too smiled back and said, "Yes, we have so much money now!"

Zeva laughed at the small excited Lia and said, "Yes, that we have. And if we did not even had it. I could have managed the money. It wasn't really a big deal. But.."

Lia did not understand by how Zeva meant by she would manage it. "But?" she asked.

On this, Zeva's smile got even bigger and she said, "But we have an even better news!"

"..!?" Lia sat upright, her ears perked with all her attention. And zeva said, "I not only got an admission offer, but also a chance for scholarship!!!" Zeva squealed at the news.

"Wow!!" Lia said with her eyes wide. "What a luck I have brought you, Zeva. Now I am myself jealous of you." Lia said with a pout.

Zeva giggled, and said, "Then, when I am already selected for the admission. Let's go and get the admission done tomorrow itself."

Lia had no issue with it. And shrugged her shoulder agreeing to her.

The day before.

In a high end estate, inside a luxurious mansion, Karl sat cross legged on a comfortable arm chair, as he was going through a file that his assistant, Liam, had handed him.

 He turned one page to another, then turned to another page. And after a while, when he was done, Karl looked at his assistant and asked, "This is all?"

Liam nodded his head, and said, "Yes, Sir. This is all the information we could get about the girl, Zeva Chen."

Karl nodded. And all the information that was given her was her childhood. Then her teenage. And it was mentioned about how she went away from home after being falsely accused by her uncle. And started living on her own.

Her current position in life, about her school, merits and financial condition was also there.

And Karl went through everything, that could be found out.

"But sir, she is suddenly living with a small girl, whom she says to have adopted. But when we tried to find some records about her. There was none. The little girl is probably three years old. There is no registered document about her." Liam said.

Karl heard him and nodded his head. "Maybe, she has adopted an orphan from a really very rural place. You don't need to look much into it." He said.

"Okay sir." Liam at once nodded his head. But deep inside Karl's eyes was a look that was hard to comprehend.
