16- Meeting the in-laws

Location- Hiro's lab, Time- Almost 10 YRB, Third Pov

"Well, maybe later, why don't we meet your in-laws," Hiro said with a straight face, and Kin just flushed "Oops, I think I am not ready yet Darling~"

"Well, too late to back down, unfortunately," Hiro said and teleported to the dining hall in the next second.

Kin could be seen hugging Hiro from the front, she had a blush on her face, not liking what she would have to go through now. Hiro is wearing his expressionless expression, whatever that means, seemingly not interested in what will happen in the world in the near future.

"So" Venelana broke the pause in the world, and the world started moving, Kin broke from the hug and put on her game face, nobody would believe she was nervous in the previous moment.

She was going to war and could not afford to lose as failure would mean that she won't be able to marry the person who makes her excited and won't be able to protect him from some bitches.

"Hello, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, My name is Kin and .... nice to meet you ".She started the first move while sitting on the seat where Hiro was previously sitting, on her right was Millicus and on her left was the current holder of Lucifer whose identity was not known to the girl in question.

"Hello, nice to meet you too, My name is Venelana Gremory and this is my husband Zeoticus Gremory," the woman said and the red-haired man also nodded, but he didn't get a chance to speak.

"Gremory?" she mumbled but was heard by everyone in the room.

"I think I have heard about the name before " She said and everyone questioned if she lived under a rock or something.

"Hmm, you don't know about noble families?" a silver-haired lady asked with a stoic face.

"Well, I think I did read about it in a book, but that information was irrelevant to me at that time, so I forgot" Kin shrugged

"Oh I see" was the response Grayfia gave, seemingly understanding her reasoning.

"So, are your parents okay with you being engaged ?" Zeoticus asked curiously, " Oh, you don't need to worry about that, I am an orphan," She said nonchalantly 

"Ah, my bad", "No worries, I did not know them, not I had an interest in knowing who they were, so I don't care" she said with a shrug.

The room got into another silence, which was broken by Rias "So, why are you interested in my brother" a red-headed girl asked who looked similar to Kin's fiancee.

"Well, I got bored in learning or copying new techniques and not to brag or something but nobody was my match, this guy was not only able to copy my techniques but also able to continuously improve them which I copied further and the same repeated.

I haven't met somebody like that and wanted to keep him for myself, so I proposed" She said with a crazy smile.

"Oh, I thought it was love at first sight or something " mumbled Rias, She had gotten into anime and mangas recently and had seen a lot of cliche plots like that.

"Technically It is," Kin said Rias just nodded.

"So, I hope you take care of my brother" a voice said from her left and looking at the person speaking she paused, recognition could be seen in her eyes and before she could process anything, her years of honing her instincts acted up and she jumped back, it lead to the chair, she was sitting on to fall.

" Wait aren't you the current Lucifer, the one who has a hot wife who likes to cosplay like a maid and is also a Super Satan level devil" she shouted the first part and accidentally blurted out the second part in a low tone, but everyone heard it, especially the maid in question.

Killing intent could be felt from the chair beside Lucifer, the maid in question had a cold smile, "Oh, I didn't know that I was so famous" she said in a monotonous voice.

"Oops," Kin said realizing her blunder, the shocking part was that she wasn't affected by a super satan level killing intent which was also noticed by the other people present, she unknowingly earned brownie points from the judges, err - the in-laws.

" Sorry, my bad, I blurted out what I was thinking," She said while rubbing her head sheepishly. 

The tension in the room remained the same, she walked back to the table and sat on the chair after lifting it from the ground.

"You never said that your brother is the current Lucifer " She said in a low voice to Hiro who now was sitting with Millicus in his lap in the seat next to her.

"You never asked, " Hiro said in the same low voice without sounding apologetic, "Well, you never gave me time to ask any question and you were wearing a black coloured panda outfit, and none of your habits reeked that you are a noble, you didn't even use the power of destruction in the last fight for which current Lucifer is famous for!" she whispered shouted.

"Well, what's wrong with the panda outfit, I just wanted my nephew not to feel lonely, moreover, it is comfortable and do you want me to act snotty or something, I don't want to declare that I am a noble to the world openly, Also, you were the one who was fighting without a special magic, so I just replicated that, what's your specialization ." Hiro also whispered and shouted, didn't care that everyone could hear him.

" I see, they do look comfortable, well no those types of guys are worst you know, always saying that they will call their family members or something when things don't go their way" she replied while mentioning normal brats of noble families.

"Also, I don't specialize in any, I just copied the magic I fought across and came in person, the spells I came across weren't anything special or mana efficient for me to use in that battle " She shrugged, she could copy the techniques of martial arts or hand to hand combat, but techniques related to mana were hard for her to replicate just by seeing on the screen, she needed to see up close to replicate them.

"Aunty, you could copy people's magic?" Millicus asked in a not-so-low voice, "Well, I guess, I could copy it if I could observe how it is working or by coming in contact with it, my body could get resistance towards that magic and a small affinity towards that which could grow with time " She said that in a normal voice, intentionally telling everyone here that her physique or her body has the talent to adapt.

Affinities are a person's talent in using a particular type of magic, for example, anybody could use Destruction based magic, however, the Gremory clan's people have a natural affinity towards it and can easily learn this type of magic better than people who don't have an affinity towards the same.

"Oh, then try copying this " Millicas said while using red-coloured magic which was undoubtedly mana with destructive affinity or destructive energy simply. He was covering his hand with that said energy.

The others in the room were shocked that Millicas in the room was able to use POD, as that was the first time for them to see it.

"Hmm, let me feel this energy properly, just keep supplying it on your palm," She said while touching his palm with her fingers.

They could be seen getting destroyed however shockingly her natural regeneration was able to keep up with that rate of destruction.

"Wow, you really have trained your body, especially the regeneration, I believe you could regenerate your whole body from just a single cell," Hiro said while touching her toned stomach. 'Her body was neither too bulky, nor too thin, In some words, it was perfect in one sense, Here muscles can stay in the same shape while getting powerful, due to an increase in the quality of muscles or something along those lines' Hiro thought

"Ya," she said while focusing on adapting to get her body to get inclination to that energy. 

Everyone was focusing on the girl in question, knowing the general idea of her abilities frHiroIro and her being High-class, they were intrigued by what Hiro meant by her ability to copy previously.

After 2 minutes of concentrated supply of energy, "I am out of energy" he said, "Hmm, no worries... This should be doable" she said while producing destructive energy from her palm and coating the whole thing.

"Oh, let's check how fast you can learn" Hiro said while forming a sphere of the same energy which was dangerously swaying around. After a few seconds, Kia did the same. He then brought it into control and the energy remained still, then he formed a hollow sphere with the same energy. All of this was copied by Kia in a matter of seconds to minutes. Everyone in the room present who knew other members of the main family or branch family was shocked that a person just learning this could progress so much in so little was shocking for them.

He then created a few strings from that energy and made them reach it to the ceiling. The ceiling was touched and obviously, could not be destroyed due to already existing arrays or runes present. 

It took her half an hour to do the same but after getting the hang of it, she could make a lot of shapes with the string. Hiro was doing this with the motive of making his family not object towards his engagement anymore, which by their shocked expressions he succeded in that. So he stopped.

"Well, I guess if we are done with the questioning, I would like to go to my lab" Hiro said to which he got an affirmative response.

Little Panda was taken in his father's embrace and Hiro was accompanied by both girls to the lab.

After reaching the lab, he straight up went to start his next project, meanwhile, Kaiya introduced herself to Kin "Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Kaiya and I am a fellow reincarnator" she said with a cheerful smile.

Kin was slightly shocked but still maintained her poker face, "oh, hello, I am Kin " She said and the room went into another silence.

Kin laid down on the only unoccupied bed present in the room and started refining her control over Desctuctive energy

Kaiya also started practising her time-based spells, seemingly trying to increase the flow of time in a small bubble filled with time energy.

"So, what's your relationship with my ... hubby," Kin asked, seemingly a bit embarrassed to use words like 'hubby' or 'Darling', previously her emotions were running wild, but now that she was calm, she found that saying like that is embarrassing even for a thick-skinned girl like her.

"Well, he is my senpai technically and I am in his organization" Kaiya replied without looking at the source of the voice and still working on the task in front of her.

And like that hours passed by, everyone here is used to training/working for hours, so for them passing time was not that hard.

The next day in the morning Millicus again in his white panda glory entered the lab, through the door. He saw the atmosphere seems tranquil and everyone was busy doing their own thing without acknowledging his presence.

Currently, Hiro was lying down on his bed and a hologram was in front of his face, which was controlled by him mentally.

On another bed, we could see Kin lying with her stomach on the mattress of the bed, forming different shapes with Destructive energy.

Kaiya was still focusing on her time bubble and was the only person who was not lying on a bed but rather sitting on the couch present.

Millicus made his way towards the couch, looking forward to the training he was gonna do.
