10: Sick night

Elandra woke up with a headache. She didn't even drink and why does her head aches. She just groaned while waking and opening her eyes slowly. She rooms her eyes around to see that the sunlight is already peeking up to her room.

"Damn, cannot go to school right now. My head hurts." she mumbled.

She tried her best to call for their nanny. Their nanny since they are young and just a newborns. After a minute had passed, her nanny came in rushing towards her with worried look on her face.

"Elandra, are you okay? you look so pale?" she asked her.

Elandra pouted and sighed. She needs to rest because she doesn't feel right and she feels so sick right now. Her nanny already knows what is wrong with her and starts to touch her forehead. She gasps to know that she was being heated.

"Oh my, does your head hurts? You need to rest and stay inside your room. I am going to get you your breakfast and medicine." she was so worried for her.

Elandra just smiled and nodded to their nanny. Since they are being born, she was always there and she plays the role as their own maid with her elder sister and right now, she is already a grandmother. She stayed with them for so long because she doesn't have any family already. For she grew up without parents and she didn't have her own family.

"What did you do yesterday? why are you sick right now?" nanny asked her.

She just shrugs her shoulder because she couldn't remember doing anything that makes her to feel sick. She just sighs and thinks about her class.

"I need to go to school. I don't want to be late." she mumbled.

Her nanny just sighed while shaking her head.

"Elandra, don't be hard-headed right now. You need to stay here because you are sick. Don't be insane. You are just going to make me worry." she informed her.

Elandra has no choice but to stay to her room. After eating her breakfast, the nanny helped her to drink her medicine and she even waited for her to fall asleep. The nanny staring at her with her closed eyes while sleeping, she couldn't stop but to feel sad for her because she was left alone by her parents with Ellaine. She thinks it is very unfair for them to leave her just like that. She just smiled and kisses Elandra's cheek before leaving out her room.

"Don't try to make any loud noises. Elandra is sick and she is resting and sleeping." she informed the maids who are doing some chores.

They all nodded and agreed with her. While the nanny is fixing some things outside, she saw the other nanny who is Ace's nanny. Ace is Ellaine's and Elandra's childhood playmate and he is their neighbor for he just lives beside their mansion but blocked by thick woods and trees for they couldn't see each other from their windows.

"Nice to see you again. How is Elandra?" Ace's nanny asks her.

They are friends because the children have been playmates for too long since they are just young. Her nany took a deep sigh and shakes her head.

"She's sick and I asked her to stay at home and rest. I feel so sad and I even pitied her. She spent her whole time studying and thinking about the company. I feel so sad for her. They left her all alone and right now, they don't even know that their daughter is sick. Good thing I am still here or else who is going to take care of her?" she mumbled and sighed.

Ace's nanny doesn't know what to say but she also feels a little sad for Elandra. She knows how good- hearted person she is and that she wants her to be always in good condition.

"Awww, that's so sad to hear. I remembered that yesterday was their mom's birthday. Am I right?" she asked her.

"Yeah, Elandra even let the maid cooks for her mother's birthday while I was gone. And she asked the maids to eat with her. I know she missed them so much. All I wish is that, they should come home to see their oher daughter. I don't blame or I am not mad at them but I just really want them to come and visit their daughter. I don't want to see her being that sad always." she sighed.

Ace's nanny doesn't know what to feel. She can see and even feel the pain the nanny was telling to her while thinking about Elandra.

"Elandra is such a nice woman. I even often watched her during some press conferences for how many times already. I am so proud of her for being so smart and so famous without her parents." she sighs.

"I know right. Good thing, she grew up being independent. That is I want to see from her. I want her to stand up for herself and not needing anyone's help. I know it might be possible but right now, I can see that she really can do it." she manages to say that even though she witnessed everything about her sacrifices and her sufferings.

Elandra woke up feeling a little bit okay already. Her nanny also told and informed the school and her best friend that she couldn't make it to class because she is sick. This is her first absent as well. She's such a good student that didn't think to absent for how many days.

"I am so bored. I didn't know this is the feeling of being sick. I don't want to be sick again." she sighed.

She just stared at the ceiling of her room while waiting for someone to enter her room because she knows that her nanny is going to check up on her. She just took a deep breath and sighed. Her mind thought about her parents and she thinks she just missed them badly and that is why her head aches and hurts right now.
