Sell Your House

Shasa took a deep breath as she entered the front door of their home. As she stepped inside, she could hear the sound of footsteps coming from the living room. Ezra was pacing back and forth, his eyes locked on his phone. When he heard her enter, he looked up and rushed over to her.

"Shasa! How did it go? Did Mr Frank agree to help us?"

Shasa looked at Ezra and felt pity for him. She had hoped that Mr Frank would be able to help, but it seemed that the situation was much more complicated than she had anticipated.

"Ezra, I'm sorry. Mr Frank can't be of help to you. His company is at risk if he tries to get involved with your business."

Ezra shook his head, clearly frustrated. "This is a disaster. I am never going to get out of this mess."

Shasa took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "Wait, there's more. Mr Frank has agreed to secure an invitation for us to attend the business mogul's charity party. We'll have the opportunity to resolve things with him there."

Ezra raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Okay, that's something. But what's the catch?"

Shasa hesitated, knowing that what she was about to say would not be easy to hear. "We have to pay one million dollars in three days to secure the invite."

Ezra's eyes widened in disbelief. "One million dollars? Are you kidding me? How are we supposed to come up with that kind of money in three days?"

Shasa sighed. "I don't know. But we have to figure something out. This could be our only chance to save the company."

Ezra ran a hand through his hair, clearly stressed. "I can't believe this is happening. I've worked so hard to get this far, and now it all seems like it's going to fall apart."

Shasa put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "We're not giving up yet, Ezra. We'll find a way to make this work. We have to."

Ezra nodded, clearly trying to stay positive. "Okay. Let's start brainstorming. Maybe we can reach out to some investors or borrow some money." Shasa nodded, feeling a sense of determination rising in her.

Ezra's mind was racing, trying to come up with a solution to their problem. Suddenly, an idea came to him.

"Shasa, I know this might sound crazy, but what if we sell your house?"

Shasa's eyes widened in surprise. "What? Sell my house? No way, Ezra. That's the only property I have. I can't just give it up."

Ezra put a hand on her shoulder. "I know it's hard, but think about it. The house has been empty ever since you moved in with me. It's not doing anything for us. We could use the money from selling it to pay for the invite to the party."

Shasa shook her head, feeling a lump forming in her throat. "I can't, Ezra. That house has been in my family for generations. It's the only thing I have left from my parents. I can't just sell it."

Ezra's expression softened. "I understand, Shasa. But we're in a tough spot here. We need to do everything we can to save the company. Once we're relieved, I promise I'll buy you another house, even better than the one you have now."

Shasa bit her lip, feeling torn. it was hard to give up something that meant so much to her. "I don't know, Ezra. It's a big decision. I need some time to think about it."

Ezra nodded and looked at her. "Take all the time you need, Shasa. But remember we have just three days to get the money. Shasa looked at Ezra with tears in her eyes, she's about to give up the only property she had. "Are you sure about this?" Shasa asked while using her hands to wipe her tears. "I'm very sure Shasa, I promise to buy another house for you after this issue is resolved," Ezra said.

A few minutes later, Shasa who had been quiet suddenly breaks the silence. "Ezra, I've thought about it, and I've made up my mind. I'll sell the house." It's the right thing to do. We need the money to save the company, and once everything is settled, you'll help me find another house."

Ezra smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Shasa. "Thank you, Shasa. You're doing a brave thing for the company."

Shasa smiled back, feeling a sense of pride. "We're in this together, Ezra. We'll do whatever it takes to make this work."

Ezra was ecstatic that Shasa had agreed to sell her house. He kissed her tenderly on the forehead and then quickly grabbed his phone to contact the agency that would buy the house.

"Hello, yes, I want to sell a property. It's located at 123 Elm Street. How soon can you come to appraise it?" Ezra said, speaking quickly.

Shasa watched as Ezra spoke to the agency, her heart heavy with the thought of giving up her home. She had so many memories in that house, and it was hard to let go. But she knew it was for the greater good of Ezra's company, and that thought gave her strength.
