Hailey came to work looking cheerful, she was about to start cleaning when Peter approached her." Hailey, Mr., King asked to see you in his office immediately", Peter said, then left. Hailey started worrying, why does Mr King what to see me, is he going to terminate my employment, what have I done?" she questioned herself while heading to Leonardo's office.

Knock!!! Knock. "Come in", Leonardo said from inside. Hailey opened the door and walked in trembling. "Hi Hailey", Leonardo said, smiling. "Good morning sir, "Hailey responded with her voice shaking. "Calm down, you didn't do anything wrong, and I didn't call you to scold you or terminate your employment," Leonardo said, trying to calm Hailey. Leonardo's words calmed Hailey. When he saw she was calm, he then said, "Sit, I have something to discuss with you".

Hailey sat down nervously, she was calm but still unsure about what Leonardo had to say. "Marry me," Leonardo said. Hailey stood up immediately in shock, "Sorry Sir, but I didn't get you". "Marry me", he repeated. " Sorry sir, I can't marry you," she said. She knew Leonardo was the most powerful man in the country. She was not even worthy of being his servant. She was about to leave when Leonardo said, "What if I can help you get back all you have lost, and get your Revenge". Hailey stopped and turned to Leonardo, "How did you know?", she asked. Leonardo smiled and then stood up and went over to where she was standing. "You don't expect me to employ anyone without doing a background check-up" he explained. "Sir, I....." "Shhh," he said, stopping Hailey from completing her sentence. "Go and think about it and get back to me, and I promise to respect whatever decision you make", Leonardo said. Hailey went home, still considering Mr King's offer, she wanted to get back her inheritance, but she would rather not get involved with any man again, not to talk of getting married. She got home moody and didn't have an appetite for food. She went to her room, took her bath and went to bed. Then she had a nightmare.

"I am disappointed in you," she heard a voice behind her. It was her father's voice, angry and disappointed. "How could you lose everything we left for you, Hailey? We trusted you to take care of it."

Hailey turned around, and to her shock, her parents were standing right in front of her. They looked so real that she could see the wrinkles on their faces and the sadness in their eyes.

"Mom, Dad, I'm sorry," she said, tears streaming down her face. "I didn't mean to lose everything. It just happened, and I don't know how to fix it."

Her parents looked at her sternly, and her mother spoke up. "You need to take responsibility, Hailey. You can't just let things slip away and expect them to come back to you."

Hailey woke up, She was drenched in sweat and shaking. It had only been a dream, but it had felt so real. She knew she had to make things to honour her parents' memory and take care of what they left behind.
