Meet (Part 1)

"Morning, Baby....."

The next day, something was different from the morning Alexa usually had. This time, it wasn't the sound of knocking and Rika's monotone voice that woke her up. Dominic's handsome face and a kiss on the forehead are what started her day. Alexa smiled, squirming slowly to stretch her body.

"Morning, Dom."

With her free hand, Alexa answered back while gently stroking Dominic's cheek. The two of them enjoyed that little moment before Alexa decided to get up and sit lazily on her bed.

"Working so early?" Alexa asked when she realized that Dominic had worn his neat three-piece suit as usual. Dominic smiled. He moved to open the curtains in Alexa's room and let sunlight enter the room, which was dark.

"If the sun is this bright and you say it's too early, Yes. I work this early, Baby. This is the time I usually go to work. I just wanted to stop by to wake you up and check on you. Are you okay, Baby?"

Alexa laughed before getting out of bed. She walked lazily towards Dominic. Her hands wrapped around Dominic's neck. Her feet stood on tiptoe as she smoothly kissed Dominic's cheek.

"I'm good. You were great last night," said Alexa. Dominic chuckled. Honestly, he really likes the Alexa that was opening up to him like this.

"Thanks, you were amazing last night too. Now, would you like to have breakfast with me?" Dominic asked. Alexa nodded. Now, how could she refuse the invitation of someone who had so caringly helped her bathe and sleep comfortably at night?

"Wait for me at the dining table, okay? I want to wash my face first," said Alexa. She immediately entered the bathroom after Dominic gave her an answer by nodding. After brushing her teeth and washing her face quickly, Alexa immediately left to go to the dining room.

There, Dominic was sitting, busy with his cell phone again. He only turned his head when Alexa approached him. Smiling, before returning his focus to answering someone who was calling him.

"I'll send the goods to you tonight."

"Yes, at the usual place. 10 pm. Don't be late, or I'll sell it to someone else."

"Good morning, Madam."

Alexa, who was listening to Dominic's conversation, turned around when Rika greeted her while keeping a plate of pancakes in front of her.

"Morning," replied Alexa with a smile on her face. The second time Alexa paid attention to Dominic, the man had finished his conversation. Dominic rubbed his head once before calmly eating his pancakes.

It didn't take long before they finally finished their plate of pancakes. Dominic stood up and kissed Alexa's cheek before putting on his coat as usual.

"Then, I'll go first, Baby."

"Wait."

Before Dominic had time to turn around, Alexa grabbed his hand. The woman smiled as she patted Dominic's shoulder gently.

"Are you free this afternoon? I want to have lunch with you," said Alexa. Dominic smiled before gently embracing Alexa's waist.

"I always have time for you, Baby. Rika will take you to our favorite restaurant this afternoon. It's been a long time since we ate there," said Dominic. Alexa nodded in satisfaction. She kissed Dominic's cheek once before widening the distance between them.

"Then, see you later, Dom," said Alexa. "See you later," replied Dominic softly. Alexa came out to take Dominic into his car. Her hand waved as Dominic's car slowly drove away from their spacious yard.

When the car was completely gone, Alexa came back in. Her lips still had a faint smile. They had just separated, but Alexa was already looking forward to their lunch. She had to choose appropriate clothes to entertain Dominic this afternoon.

[Are you there yet, Baby? Ah, I'll be there in a minute. Please just wait for me inside. I have reserved a place in my name.]

"Yes, Rika has done it now," Alexa replied, looking at Rika, who was talking to the receptionist at the magnificent restaurant. A waiter came to take them to the table Dominic had ordered. A table is located on the edge of a large glass window, with a view below that leads directly to the large river that divides the city.

[Baby? Have you found the place?] Dominic asked her on the phone to confirm. Alexa nodded before realizing that Dominic couldn't see her actions.

"Yes, I've been waiting for you now. The view is beautiful, Dom. The atmosphere here makes me calm and comfortable," commented Alexa. She could hear Dominic's chuckle on the other end, combined with the sound of someone talking and the car door opening.

[If you want, you can order food in advance. I'll eat whatever you order.]

For some reason, Alexa suddenly felt embarrassed when Dominic spoke to her in such a gentle tone. Alexa cleared her throat softly before answering Dominic.

"Then, I'll order first," she said quietly. The call was immediately turned off, especially when Alexa knew Dominic would probably be here any minute.
