Chapter 16 Late

[Dumbledore POV earlier]

Dumbledore caught up with Harry and Cassandra. He decided to follow them from behind. He saw them reach the pet store and then enter. Dumbledore saw the ice cream shop across the street and decided to get some dessert while keeping an eye on Harry and Cassandra.

After waiting in line and getting his ice cream Dumbledore notice the Vole family's butler was walking with 3 dishonest looking man in cloaks. He sat on one of the empty tables and watch the show through the window.

Dumbledore saw Harry started fighting against the cloaked men. When he saw Harry took down the first cloaked man he smiled.

"Fast and decisive," said Dumbledore.

Suddenly the cloaked men casted a killing curse. Dumbledore pulled out his wand but decided to see more of Harry's abilities.

"He's the boy from the prophecy and he will be facing harder adversity" Dumbledore told himself.

After Harry and Cassandra roll behind the shelves Dumbledore lost sight of them, so he decided to get a little closer. When Dumbledore got closer, he watched from the windows and saw Harry flashing above one of the cloaked men and kicks his head into the floor.

"What amazing strength" Dumbledore cheers.

Dumbledore then saw Harry confronting the last 2 men and Harry sword skills while holding his new wands. He watches as Harry charge through the storm of cutting spell and kicking the last cloaked man out the front door.

"Great perception, and elegant swordsmanship but a little inexperienced," said Dumbledore.

Finally, he saw the butler took Cassandra as hostage and back up to the front door. He points his wands at the butler and cast the disarming spell. He then heard Harry threatening the butler and called for him.

[Present]

"Sorry I'm a little late," said Dumbledore.

"That is an understatement. The fight is already over," said Cassandra.

"It's good to see you 2 are alright" laughs Dumbledore.

"Professor Dumbledore, what should we do with him?" Asked Harry while tying up the butler.

"If you guys don't mind, I would like to take him to my family house for punishment," said Cassandra.

"No, they will torture me to death," said the butler.

"Ms Vole, do you think that is a little too much?" Ask Dumbledore.

"He should have thought about that before he betrayed our family," said Cassandra.

Harry walks over to Cassandra and flicks her forehead and said "enough, let the authority handle it. I heard your butler said they were Death Eater so they might have a bounty."

"My family is willing to pay for their head," said Cassandra.

"Pay with what? You still owe me 50,000 Galleons. Oh, I mean 48,840" said Harry "I'm going to need some new clothes"

Cassandra saw the blood stains and remember Harry received a wound. She start checking around Harry body " I saw you got hit by the cutting spell. Are you all right? Are you hurt? Where is the wound?"

Harry pushes her away "whoa, whoa, back up you have to buy me dinner first. I'm fine, it's just a light wound, and the wound is already close."

"I saw a lot of blood," said Cassandra.

"Wow, are you worried about me?" Ask Harry.

"Hmph, who cares about you?" Asked the blushing Cassandra.

Dumbledore walk over to Harry laughing and then he points his wand at Harry ripped shirt "Reparo (repair spell)".

Seeing his shirt being fixed Harry looked at Dumbledore and thank him. Once the Aurors (wizard police) came Dumbledore explained the in and out of the situation. They were detained for a bit while the Aurors processes everything. Then a mature lady that look a lot like Cassandra follow by a neatly dress man rush to Cassandra and hug her.

"The Aurors explain everything to us. I'm glad to see you're safe" said the mature lady and then she smacks the neatly dressed man's head "your daughter almost died today. Aren't you going to do anything? Aren't you from the Ministry of Magic?"

Mr Vole rubbed his head and said "I promise those bastards will get the Dementor's Kiss: [the act of a Dementor sucking out a person's soul.]"

"Let's go home" Said Mrs Vole.

"Wait" said Cassandra. She went over to Harry and said "thank you for protecting me, I will pay this favor back in the future".

"No problem, remember our deal" whisper Harry.

Cassandra blushed then stutter "re... re... REMEMBER TO SEND ME LETTER " and she rush to her mom and start dragging her mom away, making her mom giggle.

Harry called out for Cassandra but saw Cassandra's father giving him a death stare and then he turns around and follow Cassandra and his wife. Dumbledore walk over and saw Harry at a loss.

Aye. Mission complete protect Cassandra. Rated F. Remove Reward: Upgrade Card. Reward 100pts...

"Come on Happy, I though i did pretty good"

Aye. Host performance was terrible. Host made a list of mistakes...

"It can't be that bad"

Aye. Mistake #1 host is using too much of his energy while using the Thunder fruit. Mistake #2 too much flashy moves, host should shoot a lightning bolt after breaking the Death Eather's barrier. Mistakes #3 host should of took out wand when the battle starts. Mistakes #4 host should of channel some lightning through the wand instead of his hands. Mistakes #5...

"Ok I get it, Happy "

Harry sighed and then heard Dumbledore starts talking to him.

"You don't need to be worried about her father. Most parents are protective of their child." Said Dumbledore, guessing the reason Harry looks upset.

"I'm not worry about her dad" said Harry snapping out his thoughts "she never told me her address so how will I contact her".

Dumbledore laughs and says " I could tell you if you like" .

"No, it's ok, I'll wait until we meet again in school" Harry shrugged his shoulder and then he checks the time "we are going to be late let's get to the bookstore before Aunt Petunia starts worrying".

Dumbledore took Harry hand and they apparated to the front of the bookstore.

"Professor Dumbledore can you teach me some spell?" Ask Harry.

"Sorry Harry, you can either wait until you go to Hogwarts, or you can check out some books" said Dumbledore and they enter the bookstore.
