Arrived at Hogwarts

While they were talking, the train had taken them out of London. Edward who was near the window could see that their current train has passed through a populated area at high speed.

In the middle of their trip to Hogwarts. Trolley witches come to their compartments. She began offering her merchandise.

Neville shook his head and began to show them the food his grandmother had made, while Hermione said that she did not want to eat too much. Out of curiosity Edward bought each of the foods offered by the trolley witch.

After tasting the food he bought, Edward had to admit that not everything tastes good, most of them feel strange to him.

For the rest of the trip, Edward spent his time reading books about Transfiguration. He really wants to be an Animagus. Therefore he carefully studied the transfiguration theory so that he could have a strong foundation when transforming in the future.

Seeing Edward reading his book, Hermione also began to take a book on Edward's trunk without his permission.

Seeing Hermione's behavior, Edward did not know what to say. Hermione treated Edward's books as if they were also her book.

Feeling influenced by the atmosphere in the compartment, Neville also took a book on herbology and began reading it.

A few hours later, the train began to slow down.

Edward immediately closed the book in his hand, and saw that it was almost dark outside. Seeing that Edward knew they were approaching the Hogsmeade station.

Sure enough, after a while, a voice echoed through the train:

"We will be reaching Hogwarts in five minutes' time. Please leave your luggage on the train, it will be taken to the school separately".

"Okay, I think you should hurry up and wear your robe" said Hermione as she stood up.

When Hermione was about to get out of the compartment, she stopped and turned to look at Edward.

"Oh, I hope you are sorted into Gryffindor like me".

And then she left.

Edward and Neville immediately took off their clothes and put on their robes.

The train slows down and finally stops. The crowd began to fill the corridor and walk to the door.

Edward and Neville then joined the crowd to get off the train to the dark platform.

There, the upper class students began to separate themselves from the new students and went to the carriages that had been prepared for them.

"As Hermione said, I also hope you will be sorted into Gryffindor" said Neville who then also walked towards the carriage.

Edward was curious about the Thestral and began to stare towards the carriage used by Neville.

When Edward wanted to make sure he could see the Thestral there, suddenly a lamp spun over the head of a new student, and Edward heard a voice from Hagrid.

"Firs' years! Firs' years over here!".

Hagrid's big hairy face beamed above the heads of the new students.

"C'mon, follow me... any more firs' years? Mind yer step, now! Firs' years follow me!"

Slipping and tripping, they followed Hagrid down the steep and narrow road. It was so dark on both sides that Edward thought there must be a thick tree there.

"Yeh'll get yer firs' sight o' Hogwarts in a sec" Hagrid called over his shoulder, "jus' round this bend here".

The narrow path had opened suddenly onto the edge of a great black lake. Perched atop a high mountain on the other side, its windows sparkling in the starry sky, was a vast castle with many turrets and towers.

The new students around Edward began to exclaim when they saw what was in front of them.

"No more'n four to a boat!" called Hagrid, pointing to a fleet of little boats sitting in the water by the shore.

Seeing the boat, Edward immediately climbed one of them. After boarding the boat, Edward turned to see who was on the boat with him and was surprised by the sudden presence of Ginny and Luna.

"Hello Edward!" said Luna.

"Sorry we didn't look for you" said Ginny.

"Never mind! Hermione had told me" said Edward.

After seeing Ginny. Edward believes she has not been affected by Tom Riddle's diary.

"Everyone in?" shouted Hagrid, who had a boat to himself.

"Hey wait!" shouted one of the new students who was running towards them.

"Where have yeh been?" said Hagrid.

"Just took a photo, from here Hogwarts looks cool, you know?" said the boy.

"Eh? Well, yeh can ride that boat!" Hagrid immediately pointed to Edward's boat which was less than one passenger.

The boy immediately climbed into Edward's boat. Seeing Edward, Ginny and Luna looked at him, the boy immediately introduced himself enthusiastically.

"Hi, I'm Colin Creevey!".

"Hi Colin! I am Edward Williams" said Edward introducing himself and the other two, "They are Ginny Weasley and Luna Lovegood".

"Are you from a wizard family? I never knew all the odd stuff I could do was magic till I got the letter from Hogwarts. My dad's a milkman, he couldn't believe it either" said Colin enthusiastically.

Seeing Colin like that Edward feels a headache, he finally understands why Harry thinks that Colin is annoying despite his brave and loyal nature.

"Uh, Colin? I think we can talk later" said Edward, pointing behind Colin.

Seeing that, Colin immediately turned around and saw Hagrid and almost every new student staring at him. He felt awkward because it seemed like he almost made everyone wait because of him.

"You are right, we better talk later, I still have to take pictures with my camera" whispered Colin, "I want to show it to my parents".

"Right then... FORWARD!" shouted Hagrid.

And the fleet of little boats moved off all at once, gliding across the lake, which was as smooth as glass. Everyone was silent, staring up at the great castle overhead. Even Colin, who was always noisy, was silent at this moment, to the point that he forgot to take photos with his camera.

Shortly thereafter, the new students led by Hagrid walked up the stone steps and crowded around the front door of a large oak.

Hagrid raised a gigantic fist and knocked three times on the castle door.
