Visit to Hades
To enter the underworld, Nero and Medusa made use of a ring given by Hades to Hephaestus, the ring is able to open a direct passage and thus avoid cerberus the guardian of the underworld door.
After entering the passage, Nero and Medusa looked around and found themselves in a dark region with no sunlight.

Hades did not have any demonic appearance or flames in his head, his appearance can be described as a man of great beauty and similar to his two brothers.
