Chapter 43: News

The town doesn't have a gate like in Tomoe and Mio's world. This is just a simple town with few people patrolling around it.

The moment, Vaness and the others come to this town, they immediately become the focus of attention of the people in the town.

"Huusss, erase your thought about it, this group of people is not a bully, if you want to die you can try it outside of the town and don't bring a disaster to this town.", the old villager scolded a young man to erase his thought about that armour, as he will not bring a disaster to oneself and this town.

"Nah, how could I dare to steal from that man, I am just envious you know.". the young man talks back to defend himself but in his heart, he is already planning something and want to tell it to his group.

"I hope so.", said the old villager while shaking his head helplessly. The youngster in his village is very hostile to strangers as they are often stolen or rob strangers who come to the town.

Vaness and the others, of course, hear, what these people talking about. Especially the young ones who didn't hide their greed and lust in their eyes toward Vaness and the others. But they didn't care about it as long as they didn't bother them then it is okay they will not openly attack or kill them.

Tomoe and Mio who got a little bit discomfort about these gazes of greed and lust, immediately released their aura to the surroundings to warn them to not do something stupid.

The young people, who almost got blinded by their greed and lust and who are already prepared to plan something later, most of them immediately take back their thoughts when feeling Mio and Tomoe's terrifying aura. Not mentioned Elsa, Tomoe, and Mio that has a close relationship with Vaness. Even Irene who just joined also didn't mind it, after all, it is also for her daughter's safety.

" Irene, I want to ask, do you know about Anna Heartfilia?", Vaness asked Irene who looking at her baby in her arms happily.

Vaness hears Irene's explanation although he didn't know if it is the person that he is looking for. At least a Celestial spirit magician's identity can increase the probability that she is the right person because it is the same as Lucy Heartfilia's magic.

" Can you tell me how to find her, Irene? we need her because she has a close relationship with the mission we gonna completed in this world.", Vaness said.

"Sure, although I don't know exactly where she is right now. But I know one clue to lead to her. That's the gate that she is built in this recent years. And I know where this gate is.", Irene said.

The moment, Vaness heard the gate, this makes him very sure this Anna Heartfilia is the person he searching for, " Yes, the gate that's our mission to help Anna Heartfilia open that gate. Irene, can you tell me where this gate is?"

Irene hesitated for a while but answered eventually, "I know where the gate is. That gate is very close to the several dragon's lairs. If you want to go there you must pass several lairs to reach it. And this is very dangerous. How about this let me recuperate for two days then I will transform myself into the dragon and carry all of you there. This way is much safer."

Vaness is silent for a while, same for Mio, Tomoe and Elsa. As they will follow any decision that Vaness makes at this time.

"Alright, we will wait for you to recover in these two days. After all, we still have got time. Besides that, we don't know what kind of fight we are gonna have to help Anna open this gate.", Vaness thought for a while and agreed with Irene's suggestion.

After all, if they go alone without Irene. They have a high chance will get attacked by a group of dragons. Which is not good news for them. Vaness's okay can resurrect again and again.

But how about Elsa and the others, although they are strong in the siege of so many dragons they will eventually get tired and that is very fatal in the middle of battle.

So Vaness chose to follow Irene's suggestion that's much safer and more effective for this mission.
