Childhood Promise

Angela said" Cam, when we were teenagers, we made a promise to marry our daughter and son. If you have a daughter and my son, we will have them married. How about fulfilling it?"

Camelia looked shocked and said "No, we are not going to have them fulfill our promise at all."

Angella looked at her and said, "I also don't want to remind you of that promise because we both had sons, and it was out of the question. Now that you have a daughter and I have a son, we should fulfill the promise. Okay? "She knew very well if her daughter was not Aria, she wouldn't even mention it, but what could she do? She had a feeling if Matheo didn't marry Aria, he would be a bachelor for life. She was really worried and wanted to make sure Camelia wouldn't be a problem in this marriage. She knew that even her son's cold aura couldn't win against Camelia if she was cold. She was sure that Nick and Peter wouldn't dare to speak about Aria's marriage matter with Camelia because she had seen the pampering and patience in Camelia's eyes which she rarely had with her kids and husband. She wanted to make it easier for everyone.

Camelia looked at Angella with cold and angry eyes. She said," There isn't any way that I am going to marry Aria to your cold son." She went to Aria to say that they are leaving now. Aria looked back at Angella and said to Camelia, "Mom, isn't Aunty leaving with us?" Aria thought they were shopping together, and it was all for them. She looked embarrassed and said goodbye to Angella, but Camellia grabbed Aria's left hand softly and went away without saying goodbye to Angella.

Angella saw that Camellia was furious and said, "If you want to know about this, I think you should ask Uncle Peter."

Angella saw Camellia and Aria going away, and she called her driver and went away. She was about to go out, but the staff called her saying "Madam, the dresses, are you taking?" Angella looked at her hand and saw the dresses Aria was about to try, so she paid for the dresses and took them away. She went inside her car and called Mike's phone saying, "Dad, I think I messed up Matheo's marriage." with an anxious voice.

Mike said "Okay, don't worry, just come home and have a talk. I will call Matheo too." After hanging up her call, he called Matheo and Anthor one by one.

After an hour, Angella got out of her car and went inside, only to see all of them together in the living room waiting for her. She went inside and said, "All of you are here."

Matheo looked at her with a cold expression and said, "Grandfather called dad and my secretaries to cancel today's meeting. Of course, we will be here."

Anthor heard Matheo saying this and looked at his wife, who was looking at Matheo being a little afraid. He knew she had done something wrong and that involved Matheo. Now, he didn't want to speak to Angella at all, but what could he do when his wife was looking at her with a blank stare? He was about to say something, but Mike interrupted by saying, "Angella, what's going on? Say all about it."

Angella looked at everyone's faces and said, "Dad, nothing much, but I was going shopping with my friends and…" then she kept silent and looked at her son's face. 

Matheo saw that his mother was speaking word by word slowly without coming to a point, so he said, "She met Aunt Camellia and Aria today for shopping. She should have angered aunt Cam, and now she wants to amend with us." he looked at his mother and said "Mom, you have made a mistake, you know noon can win Aunt Cam and you still make her angry and that would only happen when you talk about Aria. She is too protective of Aria."

Angella looked at Matheo in a surprised way and said, "Yeah, I talked to her about our childhood promise, but she was angry without me explaining about the thing about Master Flake. She believed in Master Flake after he predicated her business matter. So, I wanted her to know about his prediction. But without even listening to me, she went away."

Matheo looked at his mother and said in a relaxed voice, "Is the promise about marrying your son and her daughter or vice versa?" in a questioning tone.

Angella nodded her head and she remembered she had told Matheo about this promise when Matheo was about seven years old, but he said, "Mom, she won't like me, and I won't either. Don't push your promise on us." looks at her as if she was crazy. Angella thought, anyway, Camelia might not have a daughter then, this would only be their child talking. She never thought she would be the one to remind Camelia about this promise. She thought if she was in Camelia's place, she would never talk to her. After all, they both wanted to have a daughter. And she just told her that she was going to take her daughter away just after getting her. She looked worriedly at Matheo and muttered, "If I was Camelia, I would never marry my daughter to him too." She thought no one heard her voice, but what she didn't see was Anthor looking at her in a weird way as he heard her say this. He grabbed the clothes of Angella's dress and said to her in a low voice, "Honey, don't make trouble, you know Matheo will not come to the old house if he hears you saying this about his marriage."

Angella looked at her husband in a low voice, "Husband, Be honest. Do you think you can marry Matheo, your daughter?"

Anthor replied," Honey, I have no daughter."

Angelle, "I said if, Dear "

Anthor shook his head and said, "Never."

Angella then looked at Anthor with a look saying," You are also saying the same thing as me." Anthor looked a little embarrassed at Angella and turned his head to look at Mike while saying, "Dad, how about you talking to Uncle Peter about this matter?"

Mike looked at his son and said, "No, he won't believe me now. You go talk to Nick."

Anthor looked embarrassed and said "Nick would kill me if I even said a word about this matter. You know Nick is much more dangerous than Uncle Peter."

Mike said, "Oh, he will not kill you. Nick and you are also best friends, aren't you?"

Anthor looked at his father and said, "We just had a fight, and I don't even know why he suddenly wanted to compete with me in golf? And he even played like it was an Olympic golf competition." He looked extremely confused.

After listening to Anthor, Mike and Matheo looked at each other with a knowing look in their eyes. They looked at Anthor at same time with a gaze, but Anthor was confused seeing their sympathism. Then Matheo looked at Anthor with a calm voice and asked, "when did you meet him?"

Anthor looked at Matheo and Mike when they were having eye contact and felt that he had missed something. His suspicion became true as he heard Matheo's question. But anyway, he answered, "Just 2 days ago."

Matheo knew the reason behind Nicks sudden cold stare at his father. He looked at Mike and both smiled inwardly. Then Mike looked at his son and said,"...."
