So many obstacles
She slid down her panties. Finally relief.
Later she washed her hands in the Munchkin sized basin, dried them off on a paper towel. She was about to open the door when she heard voices whispering in her room.
Gertrude slowly opened the door without making a sound.

But when the other person spoke, Gertrude thought her drugged and fuzzy mind was playing tricks. She pulled back the door, giving her a wider view of the room and knew her mind was sound.
Lanta! My very own guardian angel
She must have spoken her friend’s name out loud as the two women rushed over to her.
The older woman let out a gasp and then lightly embraced Gertrude. “Oh, sweetie, what have they done to you?” She looked down at the trail of blood on the floor from the bed to the bathroom.
“I’m fine.” Then, “I think.”
“You’re far from fine,” Lanta said.
