“Why haven’t I noticed the second and third floors from the outside?”
“Because they’re concealed by the vertical steel covering that makes it look as if this building only has a single floor,” James answered. “The beauty of modern architecture that’s coupled with the advancement in technology makes that possible.”
Diego then inquired about the price of the building. James wanted to sell it for three million dollars, and the price was too steep for the small amount of land and the age of the building itself. Diego knew he would have to hire a contractor to perform a lot of renovation on the building before he and Rohan could open their reading café for business. He told James he would require a bit of time to think it over. Then he, Rohan, and Percy stayed for a few more minutes before excusing themselves.
