"Who's this handsome cutie?" Jeanette exclaimed as she raised her head to stare at Stig.
He ignored her and crouched to his knees, "I'll be your date to prom," Stig said again, this time with more certainty in his tone.
I furrowed my eyebrows at him, why would he want to help me? All we've done since he arrived at this school was argue, he didn't like me and I didn't like him so why was he doing this?
"Why?"
"Because, I'll probably not be able to find a date. I'm a dork." He said and sat down next to me.
"What do you mean?" Jeanette asked, cocking her eyebrows.
"It's kind of embarrassing, but in my high school back home, there's all these super good-looking,
super popular, tall guys, you know? I'm not one of them." Stig said.
