She looked around with her dead eyes that looked cold, giving others a feeling as if she was already used to it and deep inside, she has no faith.
Roel Dif, the hot nerd swallowed looking into her eyes and felt a bit nervous.
He wasn't the one to swear at her or give her a disgusted look but he was also the person with no interest to stop others rude behaviour toward Cynthia even after being the class mentor.
Deep somewhere, he was convinced by his classmate words and felt suspicious, too.
Whereas Cynthia didn't spoke a word and took a step forward to closer the distance between her and the second last bench.
"What… are you running now from this bitter truth?" Ricky scoffed and said mockingly.
Cynthia felt her forehead and abruptly threw a stare at her, startling her through her cold eyes before putting some words.
"Don't get involved in my family matter and stay shut the same way you were yesterday after getting that precious slap from your best friend," finally, Cynthia refuted with some threatening words.
It wasn't threatening at all but her voice and some words, scared and ashamed her.
Slap?
She wanted to hide that ashamed past so eagerly yet this girl hit right at her weak spot to silent her but Ricky was stubborn as a huge rock… she refuted from submitting.
"Ha… so now you are making things to hide in. who here have seen me get slapped and why would my best friend do that?"
"Rather I heard how sad she was when you forced your own family to make you the hire of the Cress Star company since your brother vanished".
"You even slapped away the kindness Felix family was showing out of mercy and decided to join the family business rather than getting help from Arial's sister, who have studied on jewels from your mother," Ricky sneered and flipped her hair back with a smirk.
Definitely, no one saw Ricky get slapped since not everyone attended the party and now, she changed the topic and once again Ricky started to provoke Cynthia using her familial matter.
This crazy psycho. She is just wasting my time without any evidence and just as before others tend to look at me with suspicion without thinking in another way.
Cynthia let out a deep sigh and stopped after reaching the second last bench after ignoring Ricky.
She than took a seat but the students from the bench left the seat as if she was untouchable while whispering many bad things.
They completely left her out but Ricky was yet to stop with her bullshit words since she wasn't satisfied with only that much.
"Everyone here knows, your cousin Shreya is much better than you at business and if she had taken over Cress family business as the temporary hire, she could have done much better but you… haha".
"You on the other hand… hah… forget it. You will only bring your parents company down".
She chuckled as she said and together with her, her friends and classmates also laughed loudly.
"Just shut it and tell my cousin whom you know better than me to stop lusting over someone else company and it would be better if you can just stop with your stupidity. Its my family, my company and outsiders have no right to speak rubbish about it".
Cynthia gave her a final warning but Ricky was so foolish, she was going to blabber more. Fortunately, Professor kang entered the classroom and everything become peaceful.
That's what Cynthia thought until Cayna Cilde, the one with extravagant makeup and slightly tall stature slightly kicked Cynthia leg to grab her attention.
She then giggled while her friend Lara silently looked at her while resting her cheeks on her palm.
From their expression it doesn't look that they cared about Cynthia rumours. Especially, Cayna looked amused.
She grinned and said keeping her sparkling eyes, "We enjoyed the ten laps around the campus ground. It was better than studying maths. All thanks to you".
They really took her as an amusing thing but Cynthia who was quite pissed because of Ricky, frowned at them since her mood was bad.
"If you are having fun then be happy and don't disturb me as your play thing," her gaze swept back and looked at her laptop aimlessly.
She doesn't want to show others but she was really mad because of the mindless rumours over her trying to get rid of her brother to get the company.
Until now, Cynthia never once thought that others could even think like this. But now, she doesn't know what to do anymore.
Maybe going through the flow was the best thing to do.
