Challenge! (2)

He was an honest teacher and taught his students well but his arrogancy and the fact that he only wanted top students in his class was a flaw in his perfect teacher appearance.

He would reject any students and shoo them away if they failed to hold their ranking in studies.

Right now, he was extremely enraged over her. From his pocket, he took out his medicine and ate it to lower his blood pressure level and faced Cynthia again.

"If not for your parents begging for your admission in this college, do you think you can stand there facing me?"

"Huh… I heard that your brother disappeared a few days ago, I wander what will happen to your parents now that they only have you. I feel pity for them," the Professor shook his head in disappointment and wiped his forehead sweats with his handkerchief.

Cynthia clenched her fist over the desk when the Professor involved her parents. She can't stay calm anymore.

With an evil grin on her face, she left her desk and walked forward.

Others eventually thought that she was about to leave after being insulted but after seeing that vivid grin on her cold face, they swallowed and flinched.

She stopped in front of the Professor and said with a really calm and happy face that looked eerie, "My parents don't need your pity!"

"The reason they let me come to this college was because they had a better understanding of my skills and intelligence and they also don't judge a book by its cover, Professor Kang".

She challenged the Professor without blinking an eye and looked like a formidable enemy.

Right then, a girl who had an elegant appearance and had long big hair stood up while pointing her fingers at Cynthia, "Your arrogancy has no limit. What intelligence someone like you have while staying in a corner of a room and hiding form others".

Cynthia turned her head back to give a look at the girl on the first bench at the right side and smirked before fixing her glasses with her middle finger.

That was enough as a reply and then she looked back at the Professor, "Lets end it quickly here. You look down on me because I have never attended your classes before, right? So, you think that I am not as good as your other students, so how about you give me five questions to test me?"

"In those five questions, you can try your best to get me out of your class since I will leave if I get even one wrong but if not, then stop with this ruckus and start the class normally as you have always done".

The Professor was shocked by her confidence in her eyes. Even he felt overwhelmed since until now not even one of his students have showed such confidence.

He parted his hesitant lips but before that Cynthia continued with her words without giving him the chance to say a word.

"Though you owe me an apology for insulting me and my parents, I will not ask for it considering that you are the Professor my parents highly looked upon and choose for me to study under. Now please begin".

The evil smirk faded and what remained was a serious look on Cynthia's face but that was not the end. The girl from behind who looked both elegant and intelligent frowned and mocked Cynthia.

"You are trying to get attention by challenging our professor! Only students who have no idea about how tough physics is can take it so lightly. I advise you to leave," though the girl wanted to show her middle finger and get even with Cynthia, she controlled herself in the presence of her professor.

Cynthia once again looked back and let out a deep sigh, "Looks like the Professor's student find physics rather hard than likable. Heed my advice and take some other course. Those who consider it as hard can never completely won over it".

She gave an advice in return and looked back at the professor who was now holding a marker.

He gave her a last warning before starting to scribble questions over the white board.

"Seeing your confidence, I guess you won't mind a few tough questions, right?" he asked for the last time.

Cynthia nodded without any problem and the professor gave her some questions which were of senior level.

Even his top student sitting in the class had no idea as to how to solve those five questions that their professor was yet to teach.

Huh… seems like, professor doesn't want her to stay in the class. So, he deliberately increased the difficulty parts. Now, lets see what you can do.

The girl who has been tattling roughly with Cynthia, smirked feeling better after seeing the questions which were, too, difficult for even her.   

After all, she was only second to the top student of her class.
