Issue #36

The former students of the Xavier Institute walked into their new dorms with surprised expressions on their faces.

Frost Academy was on a level of the Massachusetts Academy that Emma used to run. Jack made sure that all the facilities were the very best.

"Alright everyone, these will be your new dorms. Elementary school is on the first floor, middle school is on the second floor, and high schoolers are on the 3rd and 4th floors. Pick a room and we will write it all down later," Ororo led the students to the dorms.

The students rushed into the building wanting to find the best dorm room but to their surprise, they were all the same. Each of the rooms was a double room that came with a private bathroom.

The kids quickly found their individual rooms and placed their luggage inside. A few tried to get rooms with their lovers but they were quickly shut down and given personal rain showers while they had to do 50 pushups for Ororo.

Once all the students had a room, they were allowed free reign in the school area of the island. Ororo had several of the teachers stay behind to watch over the kids while she flew over to the main building.

The island was currently divided into 4 sections.

To the north was the academic section. This was where the school was located, the dorms, the cafeteria, as well as a large PE area that included a pool and gym.

In the east was the heroes' base. This was the smallest section, only consisting of a single building but this was the most heavily protected. The base had a dorm, hanger, armory, gym, and a few other amenities.

To the south was the research facility. This was actually the largest section and took up over a third of the island. There were several different buildings, each with the tech that was on par with a lab owned by Richards, Pym, or Stark. This was where most of Jack's workers and income would be generated from.

In the west was the civilian section. This was for any guests to stay and also where there was a small town. Grocery stores, a large mall, a small cafe that severed a different international menu every day, adult products store. The usual things that were in a small town.

And in the center of it all was the Tower. This was their main building where their none research personnel worked. It was also where Jack and his family stayed.

Ororo landed on the 15th floor of the tower before walking in. Sitting inside was Jack, Sue, Rogue, and Jennifer were sitting at a table.

Seeing them all around, Ororo smirked.

"Oh. Looks like I came in at the wrong time. I didn't know that you were adding Jen to your current harem," Ororo commented before pretending to leave.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. That was so funny," Jen commented sarcastically while appraising Jack. Although she didn't mind joining them, nothing had been said about it. So as of the moment, their relationship was strictly platonic.

Ororo smiled as she saw the way that Jen was looking at Jack and felt that her decision to follow Jack to the Future Foundation had been great.

'I get to see every moment of this drama unfold. I wonder if Jen will confess her feelings or just get over them and find another lover.'

Ororo sat in her seat and the group got ready to discuss the matters that were important.

"Our first meeting. Who wants to go first?"

Sue raised her hand. Jack looked at her and nodded. Sue smiled bashfully when she noticed the look in his eyes.

Their date had gone very well two nights ago and they had actually ended up spending the night together. The next morning, Jack confirmed their relationship which made Sue feel blessed that she had found a person that didn't seem to just be after her body or because of their pride. She felt a true connection with Jack.

Back to the meeting though, Sue stood up and began speaking. While she was part of the hero team, she was also their head researcher. The woman had two PhDs after all.

"We are currently working on Experiment 001 and 002, the cancer-curing drug and blood replenishing pills respectively. With the staff that we have on hand and the practically unlimited supplies of materials, we should be able to get both of these sent out for testing by the fall."

"I will have our legal team start drafting the papers and get them ready then," Jennifer said. "Speaking on our side, we currently have 3 different countries trying to buy our land and labs. It is currently unoccupied by an actual nation which makes our situation very unique."

Jack sighed in frustration when he heard this. He was basically his own nation but it wasn't recognized by any of the larger nations. It was more like he lived in no man's land where anything could happen.

"I'll handle it. No matter what, they won't be able to land a finger on this island," Jack wasn't going to let anyone claim this land he had for himself. "How are the heroes?"

"All good. The PR team has mainly been taking photos and videos of us. The photographers you hired are pretty good since they are able to take them in the field or even while we're swinging and flying," Rogue complimented the team that Jack had hired. "As for the heroes, they seem to have already forgotten about you, haha."

"Excellent!"

Jack was glad to hear that. He didn't want the heroes to feel like they worked for him. Their job was to be as independent as possible while working for him.

"The students also seem happy here. The rooms you have are much nicer while the school feels more modern. I'm sure that I will be able to get the students to maintain or even improve their grades from before," Ororo commented

Jack nodded. He was about to say something when he heard Rachel in his mind.

{Father-in-law! It's mother-in-law!}

Without a word to anyone else, Jack teleported back to his and Emma's room. As soon as he arrived, the first thing he saw was the blood.

"Emma!"

-- 5 months later --

Jack awoke inside of the cacoon feeling weird. A moment ago, he was still fighting the champions and avatars of other magical principalities with his wife and in the next moment, he had woken up in a cocoon.

Jack unleashed a wave of magical energy, destroying the cocoon around him.

Still covered in the slime that kept his body nourished, Jack sat up and looked around. He saw Piotr and Pietro were both shocked to see him awake. He also saw that Illyana and Wanda were having trouble getting out of their cocoons.

Jack summoned two purple blades of pure magical energy before sending them flying towards the other cocoons and cutting them apart. Both young women emerged perfectly and unscathed.

Jack got off of the platform before walking over to Wanda and picking her up in his arms and setting her down on the ground. Once she was set, Jack placed a kiss on the woman's lips who eagerly returned it, forgetting that she was in front of her brother.

"*cough cough*," Pietro pretended to cough from the side, catching both of their attention.

The pair stopped kissing but when Wanda tried to push Jack away, he held her close in his arms. He looked at Pietro as if he was looking at trash but didn't comment since it was his wife's brother.

"How have things been since we were gone?" Illyana asked her brother as she got down from the seat

"I haven't left but Krakoa keeps us informed. Many big changes, little one. Summers and Winters(Frost) got into a major argument and split the students and staff. There were a few large battles but no deaths. Winters got married 2 months ago," Piotr said

This got all 3 of their attention. Jack was the most surprised out of the three though.

"Really? I thought me and Emma weren't going to get married until next May," Jack said, his arm still around Wanda's waist

Piotr and Pietro shared a look. They had awkward expressions on both of their faces.

Jack's love life had become very public 3 months prior and it almost caused the end of the Future Foundation due to the controversy. Jack was able to recover from it but many rumors still were floating about to this day.

"You married 4 women, not just one," Pietro said, struggling to find the exact words he wanted to use.

Jack was really surprised by that declaration. He had only gotten married to Wanda after about 10 years together on the other plane. He had not thought that he would be able to fall for 3 other women in only 4 months.

'Was it 10 years? Maybe it was 5? Hmm. Hard to keep track of what exactly happened after so many years.'

"Oh, well. I'm sure I'll learn all I can from the other me. You two ready to go?" Jack asked Wanda and Illyana. The trio had formed a strong bond during their time in the other plane so he made sure to ask for their opinions.

The duo nodded. Then, the trio walked out of the temple, ignoring the mutant brothers.

The moment they stepped out of the temple, Jack and the ladies were greeted by the current Frost Family. And in the center, was a very different looking Jack. Yin Jack looked very refine and like a businessman in his suit. Hsi hair was also cut short and very orderly.

Yang Jack, on the other hand, was shirtless and had long, wild hair on his head. Jack's body also seemed to gain blue tribal tattoos on both his arms and his chest. Most would think that he was a true ancient winter spirit or at least a winter warrior.

The pair of Jack's walked up to one another and shook hands. When they touched, purple and black light surrounded them both before forming an egg around their body. A few seconds later, the egg cracked before shattering and revealing the new Jack.

Jack stood in front of all of his family wearing a black robe made out of pure magic. He looked down at his body while shifting through and combining all the memories he had. It was like he had lived both lives yet neither one of them.

The others did not disturb. They all watched as Jack processed his memories.

When he looked up, they saw a certain wickedness in his eyes.

"So that's all that happened? Interesting. Now that I have my main power back, it is about time that I shake things up once again."
