Lamine moved the staff around and looked at the touch screen on the handle, it was simple, a digital switch it's displayed and by swiping he can change the staff mode, from healing to boosting, it didn't show the energy value but feeling the connection with the very existence of the staff he understood that as a surce of energy, the staff uses his energy.

With a mental command he channeled his energy on the staff and it's information came on his mind, this was another sub power of his ability, appraisal, yall already know how appraisal works so no need for a long yapping session.

[ Caduceus staff ]

The Caduceus staff is a piece of medical technology operated by Angela Ziegler (Mercy). It operates via nanobiotic technology, generating a healing stream of biotic energy into its intended recipient. Alternatively, the beam can be used to strengthen the target.

Damage: + 25% damage amplified

Healing: + 5% second

Max range: 15 meters

The information is identical to the wiki with only the healing mechanic different from the original since in reality we don't have numbers as a health stat.

Lamine nodded and walked towards the kitchen after placing the staff on the sofa since it's uncomfortable to hold and walk all over the house with it, he walked inside the kitchen and took a knife, and with a deep breath and courage he slashed his palm but failing miserabily, his skin became too durable for a simple kitchen knife.

So as a Zoro fan he coated the knife with the intention of making it harder and sharper, he poured the amount of energy sufficent to fill a simple cup and cut his palm, the knife pierced his skin like a hot knife cutting butter until blood flowed.

"Hisss" Lamine hissed in pain with a contorted face and quickly regained his composure and opened the faucet to wash the knife while using his energy to bring the staff to him.

The Caduceus staff floated with precision and using his energy Lamine switched on the healing mode, making the staff emit a yellow beam that instantly locked into him.

The moment the beam touched his shoulder the energy moved all over his body until it came on his cut palm where the blood was continuously flowing dirtying the sink, Lamine cut himself too deep.

The beam yellow energy charged his cells and made them reproduce with an insane speed while rebuilding the palm tissue, Lamine looked at how his hand healed in a second leaving only the blood that was already outside.

He stopped the beam and looked at his healed hand in excitement, he just needs to sell an inferior version and the medical industry will kill to have it!

But that's how the narrow minded think, the real treasure was his power, he looked at the tv showing the game that was still going on and smirked, he washed quickly the sink and walked towards the tv.

He placed the staff inside the game again and looked at how the screen became normal again: 'Good, i can return the items too.' he looked at the time.

"Hmm.." he pondered a little, should he go inside the world or go to sleep? He shook his head at his stupidity, why he is even thinking about it? He looked at the game and jumped inside the screen just like a professional swimmer!

The screen splashed with drops and Lamine entered inside the game, the moment his whole body got inside, he fell and rolled on the ground while cursing his recklessness.

"Fuck! I lost soo much aura like this!" He immediately got up and looked at his environment, his eyes darted around in excitement until they widened.

Everything was gray and it seemed like Time stopped while he could see in front of him a frozen Mercy who was like a sculpture, her gameish appearance was the same from the game, the basic Overwatch 2 skin.

He moverd towards her and poked her cheek feeling the smoot and soft skin, but she had no reaction, she was really frozen in time, he looked down at her and smiled, she was really beautiful from close up, Lamine moved his attention from her and listened attentively and heard nothing, a pin drop silence.

He then looked behind her and saw a rectangular fissure that showed his living room that was gray too, he nodded while analizing his situation: 'So when i just enter the fiction, both here and the real world will be frozen in time.' he then looked at a panel showing some simple options.

This was a panel he created with his energy to make things more pleasing to the eye but he can manipulate everything with his mind, these settings are easy to understand so he immediately chose the real Graphics and stopped the time on the real world while leaving the game laws.

There are more settings but these are the ones that are currently more important, if he displayed everything his ability gave him as information he would need many panels.

The moment he selected his choices the rectangular fissure broke into mirror pieces while floating all over the place bringing color to everything and changing the look of the very fiction along with bringing life to everything.

This was not a match anymore, now every being gained some sort of basic sentience and the world gained the game laws, the heroes continued to fight but now they talked with different phrases than the normal ones.

They moved more naturaly and the buildings became real, so one could enter everywhere, but with even this, they were still following the rules Lamine selected so they were continuing the match without a true will.

This is why they only gained a basic sentience, basically a basic npc of a vr game with full immersion, even if Lamine would go and tell them that they are game characters, they would not even hear those words.

And if they die, they would spawn and continue like it's something natural; Lamine heard Marcy's foot steps and turned his head, he saw her pointing her small gut at him with a wary gaze, she begun to walk around him while still pointing her Caduceus Blaster at Lamine's head.

"Who are you!?" She demanded warily while Lamine looked at the panel and understood what happened.

He forgot to select a side, so now he is a third party.
