FRIENDS VS FAMILY PART ONE

"So your the one who is set to protect me, Hammerhand." 

"Who else would it be, minus those two we are all practical family." 

The two drunk idiots say again once again. While I'm forced to be the lookout again at least Gunslinger is here with me, and he's asleep. Damn you all.

"Why the sour look I haven't seen my brother in years,  of course, I would celebrate with a fiery passion." Hammerhand says ignoring the fact they have been drunk for almost a week now.

"Young lad let me tell you this a man must enjoy his youth don't squander all away for petty morales and social norms." Tory says taking a sip of his wine, rum I don't know what it at this point all I'm sure of its alcohol, I hope. 

"I live by a different set of Moral codes it might not seem to be much in front of you, but to me, they anchor my soul or what's left of it." At least that's what I think of it.

"Keep your morales I will take the booze!" 

Like that they spent the entire day drunk and the entire night sleeping.

"My head hurts, should have stopped at the thirtieth drink." 

"Here, I've already hidden all the alcohol in the place we need you sober to fight." I say handing a cup of tea to him.

"You know it's been a while since I've seen my buddies so I want to let loose a little bit, I'm going to be more serious since if Hades find out he would have my head." Yes, he would.

"So will you finally tell me how you joined the World of mobsters?" Hearing what I've said he smiles then puts down his tea. 

"My real name is Tony Perry my father was Tyler Perry a local actor in many small plays while my mother was Lisa Hanover a small business merchant." He says twirling around the teacup.

"They met because my mother fell in love with a play called Otherside, long story short the feel in love they got me then all was merry. Except my father was 1/4 Samarian, despite many years has passed since their home destruction, they were never treated properly by the people of Futam despite their willingness to change." 

The land of the free, where all is welcomed and all is allowed as long as they follow our rules and our laws and our set of morality. The land of hypocrites is what people outside this country it's called, always pretending to be morally righteous but it could never be farther from the truth.

"When her father found out he and some of his men grabbed my father shot him in the legs then beat him to death with sticks and stones. Despite being only five years old when it happened I can still hear my father's plead for mercy and my mom's crying."

Now I regret asking, I'm such a fool, you idiot.

"Worthless"

"Failure" 

"You couldn't save us how will you save him." 

Shut up! be quiet! I wasn't able to, if I was only a bit stronger I could have saved you.

"Hey la puppeteer, dude their's no need to worry about it. I'm more than willing to speak my story because when I do I feel calm." Yeah, that's right it's okay the voices are gone.

"My mom took me and ran as fast as she could not wanting my grandfather to catch me, and for an entire year we ran from small-time adventurers and even local forces until they finally gave up." Hammerhand finally takes a sip of his tea I'm sure it's already cold by now that doesn't matter now.

"Out of money, out of food and out of trustworthy connections my mother turned to prostitution. Despite being in a hostile and uncaring environment it was the best year of my life because I had my mom and she was always smiling. Two years later my mother died of something I'm not sure to this day." That's…. something.

"On the day of her burial which was immediately after, I have awoken my codex, I wasn't sure how, I was too busy crying my eyes out to even care. A few days later I was contacted by the Goule family to join them as one of their soldiers,the lowest rank in the crime family." 

Ten and apart of a crime family, when I was ten I was too busy crying in school. How pathetic.

"For the next ten years I threw myself into the crime world not caring about myself or anything else, I just wanted blood. When I was fifteen I found my grandfather he was getting old but he was still strong when I approached him he was welcoming at first until I told him who I was then he snapped." 

"Disgrace he called her, worthless he called her, bastard he called me and even spitting on me. I . . . to this day question the morality of what I did afterwards. He was a disgusting slimy bastard I say then other time he's your grandfather I would say."  The action of our past doesn't disappear it simply hide in our unconscious mind.

"At the age of being twenty, I became a Capo along with my dear friend Tory. It was a day of celebration for us until those sneaky little Capone performed a drive-by, they didn't kill anyone just heavily wounded most people there, but no matter the case it meant an all-out war with them and an all-out war it was." 

"A year after the war wall-outraged, the son of The Godfather of Capone himself was spotted walking around drinking drunk on the street. Both Tory and I saw this opportunity grabbed him, killed him then send his headless body back to his father." 

I'm both surprised and not so surprised at the same time. Still wouldn't that make the situation worse. 

"Our Godfather wasn't too happy in fact he was so angry he almost broke my nose and almost permanently paralyzed Tory if I didn't take the hit for him." 

"To prevent a blood war I was given up to the Capone as a sacrifice much to a lot of our members protest, in fact I would have been given to them if it wasn't for many people threatening to change side. So to please everyone a random dead body was chosen to be cut to pieces then sent to the Capone Godfather daily for an entire year until every piece was sent. I was the laid to "rest" in an empty casket." 

"So you met Hades later, was it like me the descended like a saviour from above to your rescue." I say letting out a little chuckle.

"Haha not even close, he broke my legs then have one of his closest friends healed me until I agreed to join." 

Wut.

"You got it lucky, look at the time it's almost for our meeting." 

Don't just skip over something so important! 

I never got my answer or anything really in fact not too long after members of the Goule family came for Troy and us.
