I literally drag Jimin out of the bar. The first thing that I notice is that Diya is still standing there. She's shaking in fear. May be she hasn't realized that she is tearing up. She comes running towards us as soon as we exit.
"What happened? Why are you both bleeding? Did you fight? Why? You assured me that nothing is serious, then why?" I can sense that she's panicking.
"We're fine. But why are you still here? Why aren't you home?" I ask her.
She falls on her knees crying. "I sensed something terrible is going to happen. This is all because of me. If I didn't listen to that trickster then neither of you had to face this. How can I go home?"
"Diya, we're fine. Trust me. Nothing happened. It's just an old issue. We'll solve it in no time. But what happened to you? Why are you crying?"
Jimin tries to lift her up by her shoulder.
"Don't lie. I hate liers. If it's an old issue then why the hell that Kai or whatever threatened me right after coming out?"
"Kai threatened you? Where? What did he tell you? He didn't do anything else other than threatening you, right?"
"He told me that he'll make our lives hell. What did we ever do to him? I don't even know him. Then why us?" Diya stands up.
"Ok, look. Jimin told that he'll explain everything to you. Why aren't you listening? This is not the right time. See, he is bleeding. Please come with me. I'll drop you. Please!"
I plead to her.
"You don't need to drop me. Get treatment first. Both of you! I can go home by myself. I'll call a cab."
"No you won't go alone. I don't believe Kai. He can be waiting for any of us anywhere. His pride is hurt now. Trust me, you don't know him. Jin will drop you. I'll go home and I can treat myself." Jimin yells at her.
"No, I won't."
"Yes, you will. Don't be like this." Jimin grabs her hand and literally drags her towards my car.
Even in this situation I feel like smiling seeing these two. They're nagging like old couples. It's finally peaceful to see Jimin worrying about someone.
He opens the front door and forces her inside the car and closes the door.
"I hate you! I really hate you. You're an asshole." Diya throws her fist at him through the window.
"You're abusing your boss. I'll fire you."
"I don't care. You're not my boss. Fire me if you can. You're an asshole even if you're my boss's boss's boss..."
"Yes, I am. You'll get to see more of it later." Jimin pushes her hand back inside.
I open the driver gate and yell at both, "Stop fighting you two. Are you kids? Behave yourselves."
"Jin, drop this spoilt girl in her home and go home soon. You're more hurt than me."
"Yes I will."
"Drive carefully please." Jimin waves at me with worry in his eyes.
"I hate you Park Jimin." Diya says without looking at Jimin.
"Thanks. I hate you more."
Throughout the journey Diya doesn't speak anything else other than single sentence.
"You're coming with me. We'll treat your wound and then you can go home. Fight me and I'll tell Ridhi everything that has happened today."
I can feel my head, eyes and jaw paining like hell. It's numb. My right forearm feels like it'll tear down. My shirt is socked totally. My eyesight is almost hazy. I wore lense today. I don't know what happened to it.
I can see Diya texting someone. But I can't see who it is.
"Diya, please go up. I'm going to stop by Jimin's place. I'll inform any of you two after reaching home." I stop the car in front of her home. Ridhi is standing at the doorstep with an worried look on her face. I don't want her to know about this. Ignorance is bliss sometimes.
Diya gives me a fiery gaze.
"I've already informed her. You're coming with me. And that's final."
This is the reason I don't have faith in girls. They're stubborn as hell. It's sometimes a headache.
But I know something. I want to see her now. It feels like I'm going to an war tomorrow and today is the chance that I can see her.
Right after I open the car's door I feel my head spinning.I step out with trembling footsteps.
Ridhi comes running towards me and holds me.
"What happened? Why are you bleeding? Diya, what's wrong??? Why aren't you saying anything!!!"
I try to grab her. My eyesight becomes completely blurry. Her face slowly fades out from my sight. I hear her screaming before passing out.
"Diyaaa!!! He's fainting. Diya, help me. Diya...." Her voice fades out slowly.
I pass out in her embrace.
