Vincent smiled as he stared at Quinn. He tightened his arms around her, pressing her soft body closer to his hard one.

Quinn moved her gaze to him when she felt her chest pressed against his. She smiled at him when their gaze connected. "You were magnificent down there, my Queen. So elegant, yet powerful."

"Thank you, and so were you, my King."

He smiled wider, revealing the fangs pressing against his lips. He moved his gaze to the ground and flew them down. She followed his gaze and saw that the assassins were no longer following them, and they were flying towards where they kept their horses.

They landed right beside his white horse, and he pulled his wings back into his back, but did not release her waist yet. He was staring into her eyes, and she could not help, but stare back. She did not realize that they were moving their heads closer to each other until their lips were inches apart.
