Quinn breathed heavily along with Vincent, their chests rising with each breath against each other, "Yes, it does, my King."

Vincent smiled at her and pulled back. He took her hand in his again as they continued walking. She smiled back at him and turned to face forward. That was when she saw that the rest except Ceasar have all walked farther ahead of them.

They must not have realized that they were behind, but Ceasar noticed and stayed back as the King's shadow. They quickened their pace with Ceasar behind them and reached the others. As they walked side by side for some moments, Quinn spotted a lake that was different from the one that they used the night before.

"We can stay over there by the lake for the day." Quinn said, glancing at Vincent and the others.

Vincent turned his gaze to the lake and nodded, "Yes, that is a good idea. We will camp out here before we continue our journey."

"Yes, your Majesty." The bird shifters and Ceasar answered.
