Fate Written

Destiny Alders is a girl who loves expressing herself through writing in her journal. Ever since she was nine years old she loved to write down everything she couldn't say out loud. Her feelings, bad days, everything was written in her journals. It wasn't until the night before her thirteenth birthday when she wrote not because she wanted to, but because she felt a strong will to. Her very first journal entry that was not about herself. Sean Davis is a mysterious guy hoping to outrun a tragic event he blames himself for. Five years later, he finally decides that he can't heal in the same place things happened. Taking his father, and his two siblings with him, they move into Luna City where his grandmother lives, hoping for a fresh start. Things take a turn when Sean finds what caused his tragic event. • • • • ‼️TEASER‼️ He leaned on his car, relying on it for support. Forty-seven times.

That's how many times I've read this page. What the hell was going on? Everything Sean told me last night, every feeling he poured out, every little detail was written in my journal.

Everything.

Now, I'm not saying he faked it. I would never even put a second thought to it. Last night was the most real it could get. No one could fake a broken heart.

"Des, you okay?"

I look up at Saffron, eyeing me.

"You've been stuck on that one page since you got here," Mrs. Knight adds in, as she places two cups of hot cocoa onto the table.

"What are you reading anyway?" She questions.

I close my journal shut. "Nothing. It's nothing."

Am I going crazy? I avert my eyes and analyze my journal once more. It was just after midnight when I wrote this. I had just turned thirteen. I picked up my pen and everything was wonky from there.

My pen.

Mrs. Knight.
