A nurse came to the room later, and Cree whispered gently to Qiao Ruo that he would have to leave for a moment, as the nurse needed to do her job and he had to sign a few documents at the front desk for her impending discharge from the hospital.
When Cree left the room, the nurse slipped her out of her patient gown for a change of clothes and to give her a brief examination. On a closer look, Qiao Ruo recognised the exact nurse, Hongli Wu, who had attended to her at the smaller hospital back in City A. The nurse did not remember names and did not question why she had changed into 'Xia Xinyue'.
"Miss Xia, is he your husband?" Hongli asked. Qiao Ruo didn't know how to answer other her than presenting the nurse with an animated expression on her face. The nurse said nothing more and resumed taking her vitals. With her kind-hearted personality, Qiao Ruo did not place any suspicion on the nurse and remained calm.
