Chapter 17

The Nightstalker threw a punch with his full speed and strength thinking he could finish Axel with a single hit but his fist was stopped, no, more like it was slowed. Looking at his fist he could see shadows lingering on his fist. Quickly turning around, his face was met with a knee kick from Zeph causing the Nightstalker to move back a few inches. Before he could reposition himself, Axel whacked him on the head with his fists covered in heavy ice making it ten times stronger and heavier causing the Nightstalker to fall face first on the floor, not moving a muscle. This greatly surprised the alliance, thinking it was quite easy to defeat the Nightstalker.

"Is he really dead?" Fex asked finally coming from where he was.

"I think so, but I don't think it was that easy to defeat the Nightstalker." Axel replied while moving back a bit to join up with the rest of the alliance.

Fex decides to move forward to check on the Nightstalker. "Well, I think Arthur managed to wear him out before we battled with him." (Still keeps on walking forward)

"Uhmm Fex, I don't think it's a good idea to be moving close to him Like that." Sophia said looking concerned.

"pffft, relax, I think he's really dead coz he hasn't even moved an inch for several minutes now. Besides we gats to check if he's truly dead or Alive. We can't just leave him here thinking he's dead and then he springs up later and attacks the vampire settlement." Fex said .(Now Fex is just ten feet away from the Nightstalker.)

"You doofus! Will you listen to reason and come back here. Zeph said angrily and also looking worried and annoyed at Fex for not listening to warnings.

calm down will you. Am just cross checking something." Fex replied.

Fex finally gets close to the Nightstalker and tries to touch and shake him.

{realizes and sees something) "Shit! Fex! Get the hell out of there now." Sophia screams

"Huh!?! What's she worried about?" Fex thought inwardly.

Then Fex decided to focus on what he was doing, with his hand still held out, he finally realizes his mistake but it was too late as the Nightstalker grabs a hold of Fex's hand while standing up.

"shit shit shit! We need to get out there now. We need to help Fex." Sophia said visibly worried and scared.

"what do you expect us to do? I don't know about you but my MC is totally drained. I can't even create a pinky fire even if I wanted to." Zeph replied.

Sophia tries to create a shadow portal to teleport herself and the rest of the alliance towards Fex but the shadow kept flickering in and out.

"Damn! My MC is also exhausted. I guess we will just have to fight him in close quarter combat. Let's go. " (They all run towards the Nightstalker)

meanwhile, the Nightstalker finally gets up still holding onto Fex.

"( Hahaha 😂) you fool! Did you think it will be so easy to get rid of me? You are really so foolish, you know that right? You shouldn't have even gotten close to me." The Nightstalker said.

while holding onto Fex's hand, the Nightstalker made a fist and hit Fex's hand thereby breaking his bones in that arm. Then he grabs Fex's head and started crushing his head while Fex started screaming in pain. Just right at that time, the alliance finally gets to where the Nightstalker and Fex was and it didn't take them long to get to work in battling the Nightstalker. With Zeph and Sophia charging right at the Nightstalker while Axel runs to free Fex from the Nightstalker's grip. Sophia threw a punch towards the Nightstalker's stomach which landed successfully but he didn't flinch at all. In retaliation, the Nightstalker throws a punch with one hand while still holding onto Fex with the other but Sophia manages to avoid the punch by ducking. After the Nightstalker threw a punch, Zeph manages to see an opening he decides to make use of this by throwing a punch towards the Nightstalker's face to which the Nightstalker tries to block with his other hand that was still holding onto Fex. Realizing this, the Nightstalker finally releases his grip from Fex's head to which Axel dashes forward and takes an unconscious Fex away from the battlefield. After taking Fex away, Axel runs towards the battlefield to join the ongoing battle. They decide to charge towards the Nightstalker but this time Axel was ahead of everyone, jumping up and throwing a spinning kick towards the Nightstalker but it was blocked but it didn't matter for Zeph and Sophia were already there with Zeph throwing a punch towards the Nightstalker's face that landed but it didn't do anything to the Nightstalker. The alliance kept bombarding the Nightstalker with kicks and punches but it didn't do anything to the Nightstalker than to annoy him further.

"Enough! The Nightstalker shouted furiously (While shouting, the Nightstalker released a powerful aura that pushed the alliance back a few metres away from himself) Enough is Enough. I have had enough of you pests. It's time to end this now."

The Nightstalker started throwing his fists rapidly in the air towards the alliance. Coming out of his fists, were invisible strikes that kept hitting the alliance all over their body. The hit was damaging to the alliance both internally and externally.

"Hahahaha 😂, look at them, planning to defeat me but they can't even get close to me now." The Nightstalker said.

The Nightstalker kept punching the air continuously and now the alliance were on their knees coughing out blood, unable to do anything to help themselves.

"Hahahaha 😂. Look at them, so weak and pathetic. Am enjoying this so much. Am having so mu..."

The Nightstalker was interrupted by a hit to his face that sent him thirty feet away from the alliance.
