Chapter 139: Where she belongs again.

" My step mother kicked me out of the house. " Alyssa cried.

" How could a mother be so rude like that ? What did you do ? " David was more concerned.

" I just talked about how she mistreats me. I was trying to share my story with others. But she got angry and convinced my father to get rid of me. " She said in total tears now wailing helplessly.

" What kind of parents are those ? Get in my car and we go to them. I will talk to them. " David suggested.

" No Sir...I don't want to go back home. " She cried.

David could understand her pain through the tears she was shading at the moment.

" What about your friends or relatives ? " He asked.

" I don't know anyone else..." She cried.

" Okay...I will take you to my house until we settle everything. " David said opening the door for her.

" No Sir...It's fine. I have some little money. I will get somewhere to sleep. " She refused.

David chuckled. " You can save that money. Besides you don't have to worry about anything. " He said.

" Sir..I appreciate your kindness but I am sorry. I can't accept help from a stranger. " She said trying to dry her tears so that she didn't have to look desperate.

" Ooh...that ? I am David Wong. The mayor of this city. I have been helping out very many girls out there. So...you wont have to worry about me. I am doing this as my role to serve the country. " He explained to her.

" I am...I am sorry sir for not recognising you. " She apologized.

" It's fine. Get in my car please. " He requested.

Alyssa entered the car and the driver re started it.

" So..what's your name ? " He asked.

" Marvis Thompson . ",Alyssa replied.

" Its my first time to hear your name but you sound familiar. I have heard that voice somewhere . " He said.

" Really ? ",Now Alyssa begun getting a smile on her face.

" Yes.."

" I think my voice is common." She said making both of them to laugh.

" So what do you do ? " David asked.

" I was working in some small restaurant. ",She answered.

" Well...are there other things you do ? " He asked.

" Not really. I lost my memory when I got an accident and i have been living with my parents for the past seven months until i got the job. But i believe i am very good at makeup and acting because i even won the makeup competitions today. ",She narrated.

" Wow...how could such a good day turn into a bad one suddenly ? ",David wondered.

Alyssa pouted her lips and said. " Sir...I don't know. But I believe God has a reason why it happened this way. ",She answered.

They finally arrived at the Mansion and the gates were opened for them.

The driver drove to the parking when they came out.

" Wow...This place is beautiful ! " She commented.

It was night but someone could still see the beauty of the Mansion from the lights.

" This was my father's father's house. " David said as they walked inside.

" It looks familiar...as if I've been here before. " She mattered out.

" Really ? It could be possible. We always hold different functions from here. Never know you came here then. " He said.

They got inside when Jenny welcomed him as usual.

" Welcome back sir. " She said.

" Thanks Jenny. "

" This is..." Jenny asked on seeing Marvis (Alyssa ).

" That's Marvis.I met her lost on the way. " David said.

" Greetings Madam.." Alyssa said with a thin smile.

' This voice ! ' Jenny thought innery but ignored.

" I am ...welcome to the Wong's Mansion. " Jenny said.

"Thank you Madam. " Alyssa answered.

" Please show her somewhere to sleep. " Davud said.

" This way.." Jenny said and led the way.

Its not that she came as a special guest so she was taken the maids room.

She found there Dora and the other two maids.

" Dora...I got you a roommate. " She said.

Dora who was on the bed got up. " Welcome..." Dora said with a smile.

" Please feel comfortable with them. I will leave. " Jenny said and left them.

Alyssa was stuck.

" Come sit here. " Dora said extending.

There were only two beds in the room but there were three people inside. Alyssa knew she was automatically going to share a bed with one of them.

She sat besides Dora who was alone on the bed.

" I am Dora and they are Ritah and Janet. " Dora begun.

" What's your name ? " She asked.

" I am Marvis. " She answered.

" I am...Dora its late and we have to wake up early to prepare breakfast. Good night. ",Janet said as she got up with Ritah.

" Good night guys..",Dora replied to them and left.

" I thought the three of you share a room. " Alyssa spoke when the other two were out.

" Not really. How could we ?

Do you know how many rooms this Mansion has ? " Dora asked.

" I don't know but it looks familiar. "Alyssa said.

" What a big fat Lie ! How many mansions can you compare with this one in this city ? " Dora asked doubting what Alyssa was saying.

" I don't know much. I lost my memory. " Alyssa declared.

" Ooh sorry about that. Then how did you know your name ? " Dora asked.

Alyssa narrated the whole story about her stay with Matt and Robert until how they kicked her out of the house.

" What a step mother ! ",Dora sneered.

" Anyway...let's get to sleep.I am very tired. " Alyssa said.

",You will use that bed then. " Dora said.

Alyssa smiled and then went down to sleep.

David had to dine with Cancel and May before going to bed. The dinning table had been set already.

Jenny from Dora's room went to Cancels to call May. She had been in the room with Calcel.

She knocked telling them that supper is already.

May had gained some good weight from the pregnancy. He berry was now big being of 7 months now.

Calcel helped her get up.
