Chapter 11

Currently, I was being dragged by Lesselote into the city streets with her hand around mine.

I was observing the city and it was what I would imagine a Fairytail city to look like. There were a couple of roadside vendors that were selling various foods, most of them unhealthy if the unholy amounts of sauce they were being flooded with were any indication. The lights that were strung up between the carts also gave the streets a merry feel that could lift anyone's mood. On top of that, the numerous couples that filled the street gave it a young romance feel too.

The only problem I noticed was that everyone seemed to be looking out way be it vendors, normal people walking our way or even people in carts riding by.

"What's with all the attention? Lesselote-san?".

"Oh, it's probably because of me, I know . I have a good relationship with most of these people in one way or another, Father would make me run errands and Deliveries to various shops and vendors as an apprentice. According to him, a good boss needs to know how everything works, everything from deliveries of vegetables to large shipments".

Lesselote took pride in the fact that she was a merchant's daughter and always had a smile on her face.

However, she then turned around and had a pout on her face.

"Is something wrong?". I asked.

"Call me Lesse,". She said.

"But you are older than me".

"Then call me One-san, or Lesse-nea, I always wanted a little brother".

"I will call you Lesse". I said in a flat tone.

Grumbling something about a rude saviour and a not so cute little brother she finally gave in.

I was curious about Lesselote. She was on the verge of being rap*d and killed today and now she seems happy like nothing has happened.

Eventually, we walked a little before I felt a tug on my arm, I was brought back from my thoughts and looked down to see Lesselote pulling me towards a clothing store. "Here's a nice place! They've got good quality clothes and are usually pretty well priced too".

Shrugging, I let myself be led inside. Once in there though, I frowned. Something wasn't right. There were very few customers and I got the same feeling I remembered from my past life when I went shopping to buy myself some good clothes and entered a Gucci store. This store was similar in all aspects.

Lesse was looking around when I simply spotted a plain white T-shirt and looked at the price and I was stunned.

'Does that say 40,000 jewels...if I remember Lucy's rent was 70,000..the fuck is this made shirt made of...the souls of the innocent or something?'.

"Jin come here". She called me. When I arrived I saw several outfit combinations on the front desk with different shoes and other accessories for each outfit placed as well.

"Let's try each of them on and make alterations based on how you feel".

From there it was hell, I had to spend the next 2 hours going through so many combinations which only got worse as more of the staff joined in, the problems of being cute and handsome. What can I say I am suffering from success.

Eventually, I just changed into a Dark robe that was like a hoodie with black pants and black shoes and threw my old clothes away courtesy of Lesse.

"Lesse are you sure about this?". I asked remembering the price tag on them, the lowest item cost 45,000 jewels

"Hmm the clothes not to your liking?...if it's the application then you don't have to worry these clothes are specially tailored for mages, partnered up with Heart Kruz, we make them most stylish and also combat-ready, they even have protective runes on them".

"No-no it's not that, I like the fact that you are buying clothes for me but it doesn't have to be expensive ones just normal ones are fine". I said.

"Hmm?..Jin seems to be misunderstanding something...oh I guess I didn't tell you, I own this store so everything is free". She said with a straight face.

"Oh..that makes a lot of sense". I said although it didn't.

"This was my mother's idea however she passed away When I was young and my father took over the shop, he made me work here when I was young and last here I was given the ownership of the shop".

Lesse said that the Bags of clothes she brought for me would be delivered home so I didn't have to worry about anything. She then dragged me out of the shop.

"Let's go to the amusement Park..it has a good place to grab food". Lesse said.

We eventually arrived there and the smell of food wafted over to us. We went there and I saw something that instantly caught my eye which Lesse noticed. It was a chicken wing.

"Oh if it isn't little Lesselote, and to think she is old enough to bring a boy here, children grow up so fast". The lady who was the shop vendor said mockingly.

"N-No..it's not like that, this is Jin..Just give us 5 wings each please". Lesselote said with her head down and her fingers touching each other.

"Lesselote, am I a bother to you?". I said joining in.

"What no no you are-". She then noticed my grin and angrily took the chicken wings, stomping off.

I followed as I tried to appease her anger.

"Lesse..I am sorry!". I yelled.

"Hmph". Came a reply.

Eventually, 30 minutes passed as we sat down and ate the chicken wings one by one.

"Let's go ride the roller coaster" Lesse said as if the anger she showed a while ago was my hallucination.'Women and their moods'. That was all I could think.

We went and had a good ride on the smaller roller coaster however both of us were not allowed on the bigger ones due to age restrictions.

Lesselote was unhappy. "I wanted to ride the bigger roller coaster".

"I don't think it's any different from the smaller one".

"You don't get it...My dream is to fly and get close to the sky but I can only ride a roller coaster for now due to my age".

"Hmm...well if it's that then...Hey Lesse do you trust me?". I asked having a plan in mind.

Lesse was confused but eventually, she answered. "You saved my life and Jin isn't a bad guy so I trust you".

"Alright then". I said as I Princess carried Lesse and teleported to the sky, creating an opposing space in the air and standing on it kinda like Gojo.

"Ahhhhhh". Lesse screamed and I waited for her to calm down, while she Screamed I created a dimension barrier of 60 meters in radius and made gravity Not affect the dimension as well as giving it a blue colour.

Lesse eventually stopped screaming and stuck close to me." What are you doing we are gonna fall!"

"Lesse you can let go now, stay within the Blue zone and you won't fall". Lesse listened and slowly let go and then excitement filled her eyes as she was pseudo-flying. I moved her around based on where she exerted force and after 15 minutes we teleported back to the ground.

I suddenly saw her crying and instantly thought something was wrong. "Lesselote what's wrong?.. did you not like the ride, or so then-".

I was cut off. "No it's just that my mother used to tell me stories of mages who fly in the sky and it's the best memory I have of her. I always wanted to fly and today I could do it. Thanks for doing that Jin!". She said as she smiled.
