The Young Master Likes Young Girls.

"Young master, do you want me to clear the table now?" Xin'er who had been standing close by uttered politely as soon as she saw Meng Xi left the table.

Lu Jingze raised his head and his eyes met with the young maid's, his earlier smile had left his face and all that was left was a cold inquiring gaze that made Xin'er shiver, she took an involuntary step back, her eyes dropped to the ground and the sour shade of guilt clouded her eyes that was hidden. Although her eyes were lowered, her expression could not be hidden from the sharp-eyed man that was sitting at the head of the table. His cold expression morphed into a deep frown.

"Xin'er, have you been very free lately?" He queried coldly.

The plate Xin'er was holding suddenly fell back on the table and her knees quivered; she dropped to the ground in fright and kowtowed three times.

"Young master, forgive me, I have done wrong. Please, punish me properly" Xin'er cried as she kowtowed.

Lu Jingze's frown deepened as he watched the little maid punish herself. He stood up abruptly and moved away from the maid.

"Clean up the table now and think about what you have done." He instructed and walked away from the dining table.

Xin'er stopped kowtowing and looked up, her face was ashen and all colors were drained from her face. She watched the young master's back until it disappeared from her view and only then did she slump back. Her back was covered in cold sweat and she gasped fearfully.

"Dear heavens, what have you done to offend the young master again, Xin'er?" The maid heard a familiar voice behind her and she lifted her eyes. An elderly woman stood before her with a slight smile on her face.

"Aunt Qi, you are back…" Xin'er uttered in a soft whisper, she blinked her teary eyes and sniffed.

"Silly child, just look at you. Why are you still kneeling? Did you do something again? Stand up first, you might bruise your knee and it might leave a scar" the elderly aunty said and helped Xin'er up.

"Do you thing young master is very mad at me this time? Do you think he will chase me back to the old mansion? What do you suggest I should do to earn back his favor? Ah! If only I could make young master's favorite dishes like you do… do you think master would…"

"That is enough, say no more!" Aunt Qi dug her left ear and interrupted Xin'er. She looked at the guilty and aggrieved looking young girl and she shook her head. She heaved a sigh and opened her mouth.

"Tell me, I was only gone for a few days and you already caused so much trouble. Do you think you will be able to stay by the young master's side if you keep making him angry? You are just lucky that the young master sees you as his little sister and not as a maid that the family took you in as. Not everyone can be as lucky as you. I hope you know that and keep it in mind" Aunt Qi softly supplied.

Xin'er bit her lower lip and nodded, she fully understood what the elderly woman meant and that was it, she was just lucky to have been picked up by the prestigious Lu family's young master and until that moment, she was yet to understand the reason for the young master's decision for she was but only a silly weak child from a poor orphanage. However, the young master picked her up and gave her a new identity.

Because of him, she could live a good life. Although, he never intended to make her a slave, she chose that identity for herself since she believed that she belonged in that lowly position. To her, she was forever indebted to him even onto her next life.

Seeing Xin'er's solemn expression again, Aunt Qi sighed and knitted her brows, "you don't need to said, the young master cannot bear a grudge against you for so long, he will forgive and forget about this matter in no time. Tell me, what exactly did you do?"

"I snitched on young master…" she paused and bit her lower lip while Aunt Qi raised a brow.

"I reported him to the old mansion" she added.

"That is not surprising at all, have you not always done that even before now?" Aunt Qi voiced and Xin'er's gaze became even more solemn and grave.

"Aunt Qi, it is different this time and I think young master is really angry with me!" she panicked.

"When you know that you are afraid of making the young master angry, why did you do wrong in the first place? Was it the old madam you snitched to this time, or madam Lu? And what exactly did you even say to them?" Aunt Qi questioned.

"… it was Madam Lu, I told her about young master's married so she visited the house this morning" Xin'er confessed.

"You reported the young master to his mother! Have you forgotten…" in between talking, the elderly woman suddenly froze, her eyes widened and she looked at Xin'er.

"Xin'er, say quickly, what did you say you spoke to Madam Lu about?" She asked hurriedly.

"About the young master's marriage" Xin'er answered.

"The young master is finally seeing a girl!" Aunt Qi exclaimed.

"No, I did not say seeing a girl but, he got married yesterday, the young madam is currently in the room upstairs with the young master and even Madam Lu came to see her today!" Xin'er generously supplied. The sincere look in her eyes made one believe her immediately.

"Unbelievable!" Aunt Qi gasped.

Xin'er assumed that the woman doubted her so she opened her mouth and told Aunt Qi everything she knew about the young master's marriage without even leaving anything apart.

"… Aunt Qi, the young madam is really beautiful, I saw her with my own eyes yesterday. But, she is young, she is about my age and maybe a little bit older. I never knew that the young master liked young girls…" Xin'er gossiped with her eyes glittering with glee.

Aunt Qi who was yet to recover from the shock she got after hearing the full story raised her eyes and gave a dazed nod.

"Indeed" she voiced.
