A bell chimed signalling the start of the second meetings

You: I have to go for my second meeting

I exchanged numbers and left to the second room I entered slowly

Plus she was a last minute addition we didn't even have them on the original list. I mean they didn't even go last year now did they… If anything she would be at a disadvantage right...

This meeting lasted until very late… it was just like the first one and more boring. Baekhyun wasn't even as good looking as the first guy… not to say he wasn't hot just not my type. tall and skinny thin lips not very satisfying... he would like a girl who is cute short and immature but still bad ass.

Baekhyun: you guys tomorrow will be meeting with Mr. Park so he can tell you more… this is all we have for you enjoy your stay in seoul now.

Baekhyun POV

I watch as all leave room and walk to CEO Oh office and knocked and entered

Mr. Oh: baekhyun meeting finally ended

Baekhyun: yes mr.oh seems like yours had ended early today

There was a knock and entered the rest of the stockholders and directors

I stood up and walked toward him he seemed very startled

After the second meeting I looked at my phone Tae texted that he was waiting... i ran outside

Tae: are you done

You: yes did you wait long

Tae: i arrived as soon as i sent the text so not that long

tae: where to

you: can you take me to the hotel

Tae: I thought you said you hate hotel rooms

You: yeah but i am tired from all the meetings

After an hour of driving, we got to the front of the hotel. he stepped out to open my door

I looked out the window and saw jungkook holding hands with a girl leaving

you blocked out everything focusing on what you were seeing

You: no i don't i just changed my mind I don't want to be in the hotel room

Tae: but you just said you were tired

you looked back as Jungkook got into a car

you: i suddenly don't feel tired. I want to be out of this hotel

tae: i am on the clock so i can not enjoy a drink... but i will watch over you

We got back in the car and went to the closets bar. As soon as I sat down I ordered and drink and downed it. Over and Over again until I felt a numbing feeling in my head

you knew it was gonna be something about jungkook

you: go ahead

Tae: are you sure cause I don't want to offend you

you: you won't

tae: its just from the looks of it you did know that man back at the hotel with the girl

you nodded ordering another drink

You: i thought i did but recently i have no clue who he is. and the girl seems like a rando I have never seen or heard about her

Tae: that was your fiance

I never told him I am engaged. I don't tell many people now because...

tae: he thought it was relevant that i know about your marital status

You: he is thorough I will give him that

you drank the drink in one gulp ordering another

i glared at him

Tae: and my boss also slipped that he was a dirt bag that can't keep it in his pants. in in case we ever met your fiance so i wouldn't say anything stupid or offensive to you.

you laughed. this mysterious boss is seeming more and more like a stalker

You: I have a questions for you about your boss

Tae: he said to answer any questions even if it was about him so go ahead and ask

he is very trusting...i would never let my employees answer questions about me and my personal life... it is actually against company policy at Jeon corp. probably why most don't know of my engagement status

You: well in that case. how close are you to your boss

Tae: I would like to think I am very close to him

You: so you know CEO Oh personally can you tell me why he is acting like

You: I have yet to meet him yet he is doing all these very generous things and knows so much about my personal life. it doesn't add up.

Tae: i have known him for about 6 years now as his driver and i have not once even drove someone else not even those he lives with so it beats me as to why he would be doing this. But since i have known him for so long , I know that he is not a bad guy and does always have a reason for what he does. Even if you don't know it doesn't mean it's bad.

You: it feels a little stalkerish

he laughed and ordered me another drink

Tae: just look at it as him buying a ticket to meet his idol

i looked skeptical at him. as he slid me the drink

You: why would i be his idol

Tae: your famous. in the world of business I mean

You: for making good points and being able to shoot down competitors anyone can do that.

Tae: not to your point… when people found out you went to the jeon corp they cried your stock dropped soon after... you were talk of the business world starting at the age 15. The engagement which has been long forgotten and wiped from the internet completely, going on world conferences, almost becoming a foreign diplomat. no one can measure up to that

You: the engagement was for the public, world business tours because they wanted me to hurry up and rise I didn't know what I was doing most the time, and the diplomat was an accident. I happened to meet a foreign Minister who was lost. I spoke his language and helped him find his way and do national business in the process. I didn't have power over any of that

you: I still had no control. I did what i was told and stood where i was put. I kept my head in the sand cause i made a promise to someone.

Tae: so when you went to work for the corrupt jeon corp and as an intern at that you were holding a promise

you: yeah but I am not drunk enough to talk about that yet

he gestured for another drink

Tae: we can comeback to that… but the transfer it was more than a kick in the face for my boss.

Tae: he is only a little older than you at the time. He was in the middle of being prepped to take over the business

you nodded taking another drink. just a high alcohol tolerance built up over years of drinking. Some sad some very fun

you took another drink

you: I did it because it set back our wedding. it went from when we turned 18 to undecided. his father wouldn't want him to marry an intern or anyone under his status no matter what the family background is...

Tae: you were smart at even that age

you: I didn't know that was what I was doing. I only realized it further down the road.

you: what it would have changed is how many shares I received after my mother died. It was already less for some reason. I couldn't have it going any lower

you tried to think of the last time you talked to your father. when it wasn't about business

You: not since our sunday nights dinners ended.

You: but like it or not they raised me. And I have to do what are company need.

you: yes. that was how my childhood went. As soon as my mother died it all just went to hell

you laughed and drank it and the next one he ordered losing track at this point of what you were drinking and why.

Tae: this is the time to find yourself stop using your father as a reason not to be you

you: I am not doing that

Tae: you're just scared of what you will find when you search. But deep down you know who you want to be. Cause the thing about second hand nature is that it comes second. You are still there.

you took another sip

You: you're smart for a driver and very good at getting people to talk

Tae: well this is just a side job

You: a driver for a CEO is a side job.

Tae: I am a therapist originally

you nod not understanding

You: how does a therapist become a driver for a CEO

Tae: My job isn't limited to just these things. I have a very broad skill set. So I take care of many jobs for the CEO. Driver and therapist being two of them its a long story to be honest.

Tae: I don't think I should

you almost fell out of the chair when you perked up. he had to grab your arm and pull you back up

I smiled and he laughed

Tae: so six years ago I was still in school but I had trouble with my tuition. I was getting kicked out of my apartment. When a nice car was driving by it stopped and they rolled down the window

Tae: well it was. I told him step by step how to get to his destination

Tae: it is a famous building anyone would know. But he was very impressed and said he was looking for a driver and since I needed money i could have the job if I wanted

you: what a coincidence. You need money and a CEO falls out of the sky

he looked at me skeptical

Tae: I couldn't believe it at the time he said I could go with him to his company right then and there and fill everything out… so he helped me pack my stuff into his car… and I drove him to the company

you: he let a stranger drive his expensive car go on

Tae: when we got there he gave me an advance on the pay… and while driving him around I got a degree and became a therapist… I liked driving him around and we were together for so long that I set my schedule around his needs and I am his personal therapist

You: So let me get this straight. All of a sudden you were down on your luck. Your tuition failed you, you got kicked out of your apartment, while standing on the street surrounded by your belonging a car drives up to you, a CEO asks you for direction, and just by that decides you a man on the street that just got kicked out would be a perfect fit to work for him, he helps you pack and lets you drive his expensive car to a place he has been before, and would definitely know how to get to, where you signed a contract to be his driver while becoming a therapist.

he nodded his head thinking

you: proceeds to let you put your things in his car no care if they were dirty and had bug and the drive that said expensive car

you: and sign you on immediately paying you a wage a driver should not have been making no matter who they are driving for

tae: yeah

it looked like his brain was racing a million miles a minute

you took a sip. he then looked you dead in your eye

you: he probably wanted someone to talk to that he could trust.

Tae: he could talk to anyone

you: if someone wanted dirt on him they would kidnap you first

You: that is how it goes in the movies to get dirt on the boss go for his workers the driver his assistant and his therapist. That's why in mobs the doctor or therapist stays on site

tae: i don't follow

you: if he talked to any random therapist the likely of them being payed off would be higher and business being leaked happens a lot now. So getting someone who is down on their luck and struggling and help build them up forms that " I owe them my life" feeling along with that high pay you were set to never leave or snitch his business. Tae: I agree my how I was hired is shady. But looking where I am at now I trust him with my life and am glad he sought me out and found me to be a great canidate. it is an honor really. But with your thinking going like that you know business
