Cute little doggy..

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

She stepped out of the house in a disguise, like she had always done. She took a cab to the shelter. When she got there she met the lady in charge of the shelter.

"Hello I'm Dee, I want to adopt a dog" she said with a smile.

"Hello I'm Kate. You want to adopt a dog? Then you've come to the right place. What type of dog do you want?" Kate said

Desi scratched her head "ummm I don't really know. Do you mind showing me?"

"Alright, I would recommend an Alaskan Malamute. It would suit your kind, it is strong and affectionate." Kate said.

"Can I see it? Desi asked

" Of course, follow me"

They both went to each section of the shelter. The breed Alaskan Malamute was quite up to Desi's taste. She adopted her immediately.

When she was about leaving, she caught sight of a very white dog that looked very cute.

"What breed is that?" she asked pointing out to the dog.

"oh.. That's the American Eskimo dog. Do you like it?" Kate asked

"I love it, and I want to adopt it too!"

At the end of the day Desi adopted the two dogs and took them home. She dragged the Alaskan Malamute by the collar chain around its neck. While she carried the American Eskimo.

She stepped out of the Shelter, instead of flagging down a taxi, she decided to take a stroll down the street. She caught sight of a dress in a shopping mall opposite the shelter. In order to have a closer look she crossed the road and went closer. But when she got closer she screamed. Not because of the dress but because of her reflection at the glass. She was getting fat. Instead of buying the dazzling dress she wanted to purchase. She pulled open the door to the mall and rushed in.

"I need training tracks" she told the salesperson.

"OK please come this way for your size"

She finally purchased a blue coloured tack suit with boots.

She walked out of the mall with her dogs. And walked home. "I really can't get fat she thought. I have to Jog every morning. If not I'll start loosing endorsements.

Meanwhile at the same time in Le grande's Enterprise. Inside the conference room all the shareholders sat down listening to the president who was none other than Brandon Le grande.

T-Rex kept on drumming his fingers at the table seemingly not bothered about the meeting.

"Mr.... Would you mind introducing yourself to us?" The president asked.

"Oh! I'm T-Rex, as you all already know I bought Mr Ben's shares. I'm happy to be a part of this company and I hope it soars greater heights." He said with a mischievous smile targeted at Daphne. Daphne met that gaze and shuddered.

No she doesn't have a good feeling about this guy. He's so mysterious and she can sense danger luring around the corner.

After the meeting, she called called her assistant Lucy. The assistant rushed into the office and greeted Daphne.

"Lucy run a background check on that new share holder. I need to get hold of it as soon as possible."

"Alright madam".

In a black Maybach.

"Sir, Miss Le grande wants to look into your background."

"Alright give her what she wants. Make no mistakes about it." T-Rex said.
