Would Never Like Her

Zhu Biyu placed the last of the dishes on the dining table. She smiled as she looked at her hard work. She had cooked for three hours to make the perfect anniversary dinner for her husband and was satisfied with the results. 

Although they did not have the most conventional marriage, they had been married for three years. And Zhu Biyu wanted it to be a special anniversary for them this year. 

Perhaps if they had a nice dinner and talked, he would change his mind about her…

"Young Madam! You didn't have to do all of this by yourself! You should have just let me help you!" The housekeeper exclaimed as she walked into the kitchen. 

She offered a pitiful smile to Zhu Biyu, acknowledging the effort put into preparing various dishes within a short time."

"Housekeeper Wang, don't worry about it. I can do it. I want to do it," She insisted with a big smile. 

"Young master is going to be thrilled when he comes back!" housekeeper Wang said. However, her voice was low as even she wasn't certain he would be home.

Zhu Biyu smiled weakly when she heard that. She hoped that he was impressed. She put all of her effort into making the dishes. 

"I really hope he likes it…." she said as her voice trailed off. 

"Of course, he's going to like it! To be sincere, our Master is really lucky to have a wife like you!" Housekeeper Wang said. 

Although Zhu Biyu knew she was saying it to make her happy, she still felt sweet inside. 

Now, if only Ye Yating thought the same way of her.

"The CEO of the Ye co-operation and one of the biggest tycoons in the country was seen leaving that airport earlier today…"

Zhu Biyu looked at the television to see that the news channel was reporting on Ye Yating again. 

As one of the hottest and youngest CEOs in the country, everyone was reporting on him almost every day. 

She watched with a complicated gaze on her face. She had no idea that he had even left the city. As his wife for three years, he didn't tell her he was leaving. 

Since he rarely returned home, she assumed he was just tied up with a lot of work. 

"Ye Yating was seen leaving the airport earlier today; however, he was not alone. He was seen with Fang Yuhan, the fast-rising actress. They were seen leaving the airport together, leaving many speculations about their relationship." The newscaster said. 

Zhu Biyu's eyes went cold when she saw Fang Yuhan. Fang Yuhan....this woman had been a thorn in her side for a long time…..

"Young Madam, don't worry about what the news is saying. You know that those people like to spin news however they want so they can sell newspapers. Master is definitely not like that!" Housekeeper Wang said. 

She looked at Zhu Biyu with a pitiful gaze. She had been working for her since she got married three years ago, and she could tell she was a good woman. 

However, the man she was married to did not seem to appreciate that. She just hoped that it would not be too late for the master. 

"It's okay," Zhu Biyu said with a smile on her face. She looked at the television. They were still reporting on Ye Yating and Fang Yuhan's relationship. 

"When asked, Fang Yuhan refused to reply on their relationship; however, fans speculate that she may be hiding it for the sake of her career. The both of them have been called the IT couple of the year and look compatible together….".

Zhu Biyu stopped listening at this point. She thought back to a month ago when Ye Yating had handed her divorce papers and asked her to get a divorce. 

Was it because of Fang Yuhan? Although he and Fang Yuhan had been close, he told her she wouldn't ever have to worry about Fang Yuhan when they first got married. 

Was he now with her? Was that why he wanted to leave her? 

She was still thinking about this when she heard the doorbell ring. 

"It seems that the young master is back. I'll go get the door," Housekeeper Wang said and hurried away. 

A few minutes later, housekeeper Wang entered the dining room back while Ye Yating and Fang Yuhan strolled behind her. 

Zhu Biyu's heart sank when she saw Fang Yuhan. 

They had just been reported to be in a relationship, and Ye Yating had brought her to their house. Even if he didn't love her and wanted to be with someone else, he had to have some respect for her. Why was he so cruel to her? 

Fang Yuhan smiled at Zhu Biyu. However, despite her wide smile, her eyes were cold and stared daggers at her. 

Zhu Biyu tried her best to hold back her temper. No matter what, she did not want to make a fool of herself. 

Besides, she seemed to be the one at fault here. By refusing to sign the document after a month, she was the one blocking their relationship, right?

"Biyu, you didn't have to make so many dishes! You had no idea if Brother Yating would come back or not. He wanted to head to work immediately, but I was the one who convinced him to come back! What would you have done if I hadn't asked him to come?" Fang Yuhan gloated. 

Zhu Biyu glared at her. So she should be thankful that she let her husband return home to her then? Was that what she meant? 

Ye Yating finally looked at Zhu Biyu. His gaze had always been cold, but it was extra colder, as if he was disgusted by her presence. 

His cold look made Zhu Biyu shiver. She moved a few steps away from him.

"What is going on?" He asked her coldly. 

Zhu Biyu's heart sank to her stomach, and though the room was warm, she felt cold inside. 

She looked at Fang Yuhan, who locked her arms around his arm, and Ye Yating, who just let her. 

She could not help but remember the night they spent together two months ago. Before he gave her the divorce papers, they consummated their marriage for the first time. 

She thought that it meant something…

Because of that, she had felt their originally cold relationship would improve, but she hadn't expected anything to change. Yet, who would have thought she was the only one confused about matters?

One month later, he had handed a divorce document to her.

He didn't want her. He never wanted her. 

Even if she crossed the seven seas to please him, he would never like her…

Her heart grew cold as she glanced at the dishes on the table and the Fang Yuhan, who had taken one of the moon cakes.

 "You don't..... remember what day it is today?"
