It is done. We are no longer married

"What are you talking about? Why should he remember? Brother Yating has to take care of so many things in the company every day! You can't help him, but you also can't add to his troubles! He came back home, and the only thing you can do is question him. Hmph!" Fang Yuhan scolded. 

She sounded like she was worried about Ye Yating, but she was just criticising Zhu Biyu.

Zhu Biyu did not pay attention to Fang Yuhan. Instead, she looked at Ye Yating. 

"Ye Yating, do you really not remember what day it is today?" She asked again. 

Housekeeper Wang looked at her employer and then at his wife.

It was clear that Ye Yating did not remember. She shook her head. Any wife would be mad if her husband returned home with another woman and didn't even remember their wedding anniversary. 

She had thought that things were about to change in the Ye family. And it wasn't for good. 

"Sir, today is your wedding anniversary! The madam has put a lot of effort into making all the dishes you like! She thought you could spend a relaxing evening with each other, but....". Fang Yuhan shifted on her feet but showed no intentions of leaving.

Ye Yating was hers! He had always been hers, and she would take him back! 

Ye Yating revealed a guilty look on his face, but it was gone as soon as it came. 

"You didn't have to go through all this trouble," he said coldly.

He took a seat at the table and started to eat. Fang Yuhan felt awkward since he hadn't invited her to eat with him. She turned to Zhu Biyu.

"Zhu Biyu, is this how you treat your guests? I know you probably don't like me, but I am here with Ye Yating! You should be nice to me!" She accused. 

Zhu Biyu had had enough at this point. She didn't want to deal with the blatant disrespect anymore.

She had loved Ye Yating for three years and let him walk all over her pride, but she didn't want to do it anymore. She was done. 

If he was in love with Fang Yuhan, then there was nothing she could do to change his mind. It was better to give up now. 

She glared at Fang Yuhan, who had a haughty look on his face. "You said yourself that you are Ye Yating's guest. Why do I have to serve you? " She asked.

"You....! Zhu Biyu!" she sputtered, face red with embarrassment, "Is this how you treat your guests? Brother Yating! How dare she talk to me like that?" Fang Yuhan immediately turned to complain to Ye Yating. 

Ye Yating looked at Zhu Biyu coldly. "Apologise to her. She's a guest, after all!" He said. 

Zhu Biyu laughed when she heard that. That was all she needed to give up on Ye Yating fully. 

She turned and walked away from the dining room. 

Fang Yuhan watched as Zhu Biyu walked away with a smug look on her face. That was what she wanted. She wanted Zhu Biyu to lose her temper. She wanted Ye Yating to know that she was the only one who could be by his side and take up the position of his wife! 

That was why she chose to make her appearance on their wedding anniversary. She wanted Zhu Biyu to know that although she was the one who had a wedding certificate with Ye Yating, she was the one in his heart. 

Fang Yuhan turned to face Ye Yating with a pitiful look on her face. The smug look she had on was gone. 

"Brother Yating, did you see the way she was acting? She doesn't respect you at all! She didn't even care about the fact that I was your guest! How dare she be so rude to me? I know that your mother was the one who had you get married to her, but you can't just let her walk all over you like that!" Fang Yuhan pouted. 

Ye Yating stopped eating and looked at Fang Yuhan closely. 

"Did you know it was our anniversary today?". He asked her. 

Fang Yuhan's heart beat fast against her chest. Did Ye Yating know something? 

She shook her head. "Of...of course not. I had no idea....." She said. 

"Is that so?" Ye Yating asked as his eyes narrowed in suspicion. No one knew what he was thinking, and the look on his face was blank. 

 "Y-Yes. I had no idea. Brother Yating, you know... about that night..." Her trembling lips quivered further as tears welled up in her eyes.

"I already told you I will take responsibility for what happened between us, Yuhan. However, that doesn't mean that you should target Zhu Biyu. She didn't do anything to you!" Ye Yating said coldly.

The night Fang Yuhan was talking about was the worst night of his life, and it was also the night that sealed his fate with Zhu Biyu. 

However, he was a man. And he had to take responsibility for his actions. 

"Brother Yating, I really didn't mean to do anything to Zhu Biyu. I was just mad…."

"That's enough. You can go back home now!" Ye Yating said. 

Fang Yuhan's face fell when she heard this. She wanted to stay some more with him. But she also knew that Ye Yating was not to be provoked. 

"Alright, I will leave. About what we talked about earlier..... "

"Don't worry. You will get the role". He said. 

Fang Yuhan smiled and left happily. Very soon, Ye Yating would belong to her. She would have everything she had ever wanted!

Ye Yating walked into Zhu Biyu's bedroom. The lights were turned off. He turned on the lights and saw her sitting on the bed. 

She was holding some documents in her hand, and he recognised those documents because he was the one who had given them to her. 

"Zhu Biyu, about earlier...." 

"I have already signed the divorce papers; it's done. We are no longer married."
