THE BOOK

Is the book talking to me? Or is this just a phrase that was already in the book??? I turned the pages and they were all empty.

The book now had another sentence on the first page that read

"Hey, give me a reply..."

So as shocked as this situation made me, I still wrote the book a reply

"Yes. And do u know what is happening to my brother ??"

The book replied,

"Of course I do ".

So I replied cautiously back to it, "Can u tell me what is happening to him ?"

And the book said "Sure".

But it made me feel suspicious. Why did it agree so quickly?? I thought it was going to ask my soul for an exchange. But it surprisingly did not.

The book said, " Eville likes experimenting ."I couldn't hear the book laughing but I could certainly feel it.

"What has that got to do with my brother ?" and as I was writing ...I got the realization that it meant Eville is experimenting with my brother. But why now? She hasn't done that in so many years. So why? Unless and until she really needed it to be my brother. Maybe she needed it to be someone from her bloodline. I should get to know more about Eville in order to understand her intentions. Let me ask more about her to the book.

"So what experiment is this all about?"

"Experiment to test Eville's IQ and swapping skills,hehehehehe".That giggle really did give off the feeling that it was Eville's book indeed. It might be helping me when I ask any questions to it, but in reality, it was just entertaining itself with all that's happening. But that's not what is important ...I don't mind if it wants to entertain me but I have to know what is happening with my little brother. I had this feeling that it was more of a curiosity than an urge to help my brother. But I shook my thoughts and asked it

"Can you explain more about this experiment?"

"That is no fun though. I am sure Eville wouldn't like that", the book replied.

"Eville wouldn't know about this though. Let this be our secret . What do you think....um book sir or is it, madam? And do u have a title ? I can't seem to read the title for some reason", it felt like I was using methods I used to coax my little brother. But that didn't matter, I just wanted to explore all the options I have been granted.

"Kekeke....I am not too sure about any of your questions . Figure it out on your own . Since that will be more fun."

"But I thought you were willing to answer my questions."

"I did. But you are so boring now. So I take it back . Anyway if u really want a clue that bad. How about taking a look at your brother's mask and finding your own answers"

"But how??"I asked frantically.

But no reply came back. It didn't answer any of the things I wrote after that . And all the things it answered and all the things I asked the book, they all vanished ...like it never happened.

Feeling my head throb, I turned back and I was shaken to see my brother looking at me with murderous eyes and a pointy knife in his hands.

"How could you do this to me ?", he said...
