Second Outbreak
"Indeed it is nice." Alex Mercer smirked.
"You seem happy about something?" Asked Greene, "No, I just have something to tell you." Responded Alex.
'Wait, isn't this too fast?! Not that I'm complaining.' Thought the degenerate Greene, "What is it?" She asked with a bit of eagerness and leaned her head forward, Alex then grabbed her shoulders and pushed her down.
'Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.' Thought the flustered Greene, "It's time...." Alex said before his arms transformed into Muscle Mass and began rapidly punching Greene on the ground.
Greene was caught off guard as she threw Alex off her, "Why!? I gave you what you needed, and even helped you!" She shrieked at him, with that, Alex laughed "Have you never realized that there could be other reincarnators besides you?" He said as his laughter died down and after that, he transformed into his armored form as he charged Greene while turning is right arm into a blade while his left arm is turned into a claw.
Greene then ordered Hunters to aid her, unfortunately, the Hunters were being killed by Alex's Brawlers, she then focused on the Leader Hunters to help her. As they followed orders and ran at full speed to the core hive, she dodged Alex's attack as she ran outside with Alex following her.
She arrived outside with the military alerted of her, they began firing. She then ingulfed herself in tendrils as a monstrosity appeared, she turned into her boss form in the game. She roared, causing Mercer to run away.
She began firing rocks from her mouth at Mercer as he dodged, turned his arms into Musclemass and grabbed a car as he threw it at one of her body parts, it doesn't immediately destroy one of her body parts though it will likely destroy it on the second object thrown. Greene then produced 4 Hydras and a bunch of Hunters to appear around her as the military come in to destroy them. Alex quickly finds another car to throw and did so once again as one of the body parts began squirming until it returned back to the ground, he repeated this on the two other body parts of Greene until only the head was left. He turned his right arm back into a Blade as he began hacking and slashing at it, eventually Elizabeth Greene comes out of it, albeit weakened. She tried to run from Alex but due to her weakened state, not fast enough as he managed to grab her neck and consumed her.
Memories appeared in Alex's mind, Hope Idaho, the woman who took Greene's body until it showed a man called Alexander Cyrus. 'So that man must be the other reincarnator then, first of all I have to consume Randall so he won't resort to a nuke. Finally initiate the second outbreak and begin creating Evolved, but also turn Heller into a Prototype.' He concluded, but before that, he screamed as his arms and legs stretched out into tendrils as it consumed every single Redlight infected.
After the Redlight infected were consumed, Alex was surprised "This didn't happen in Prototype 1 but in Prototype 2 instead, seems I won't need to manually consume every single infected." Alex said as he was pleased. "Time to go to their base then." He said with his goal in place.

Alex had arrived on a building, overlooking the HQ, "As expected from the HQ." He said as he's seeing innumerable amounts of soldiers, dozens of super soldiers, APC's and Tanks.
Alex then commanded his Brawlers to kill on sight near the base as he began gliding until he's above the base, he then bulletdive bombed in the middle of it as his arms turned into Tendrils.
"ZEUS has been spotted in the HQ, I repeat, ZEUS has been spotted in the HQ!" A soldier reported to Red Crown hoping for them to send reinforcements from outside the base. They saw Alex put his arms on his torso as he began trembling with red gas appearing out of him, until he released it while stretching his arm on both sides with him crouching low. The Blackwatch soldiers and marines begin coughing blood to the ground, with the super soldiers shrinking slowly while holding their heads as if in pain and the soldiers in the tanks coughed blood as well. After this action, he suddenly grabbed one of the commanders and consumed him, the commander's memories were taken by Alex as he went inside the base.

Meanwhile Randall is sitting in his office, as he was currently shocked by the revelation that Redlight had been annihilated by Alex Mercer, while he was thinking of why he killed Greene, the door suddenly opened. Revealing Alex Mercer.
"What the hell!?" He shouted out, while Mercer was walking slowly. "I can't have you nuking Manhattan yet." Alex replied, Randall suddenly grabbed the pistol on his desk as he began shooting at Mercer until it ran out bullets as Alex grabbed Randall and consumed him.
Randall's memories showed about Hope, Idaho again and finally Major Cyrus as he found what he was trying to do. He apparently showed up during the first outbreak of Blacklight in Penn Station when Alexander Mercer released it.
"Was he purposely trying to make me stronger?" Alex asked to noone in particular.

He then exited the HQ as he witnessed his infected on a rampage while his infected are filled with Infected, Brawlers, Juggernauts, and Evolved. The Evolved were some of the soldiers while most of them were the previous super soldiers although their buffed bodies were nowhere to be seen as they shrunk to normal size, the Juggernauts were infected which failed the transformation to Evolved.
Alex was currently trying to figure out where Heller went until his body evolved to create the Hunting power in Prototype 2, he smirked as he finally found a way to track him. He activated it as his world turned orange until it returned back to him, he followed the way where the Hunting power left from.

James Heller was currently thinking of killing Alex once again, he couldn't help it as he's likely related to the infected who killed his wife and he had kidnapped his daughter as well. He separated with the reincarnators as he wanted to find Mercer and kill him however difficult it may be, Chris tried to persuade him but he wouldn't listen and finally set off. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he saw a familiar figure land on the street near him, he resolved himself as he took out his knife as he ran and stabbed him from behind. But Alex wasn't fazed, "What the-" He was cut off when Alex hit him to a building, Alex then went and crouched to his level as he began to speak, "Your daughter's still alive, you know. I haven't killed her yet." He said as if to give him some hope, "Motherfucker, why would I believe you?" Heller asked weakly, "You can choose to or not, however isn't it better if she were still alive?" Alex replied. "Try and find her Heller, who knows, maybe I'll give her to you once you find her." Alex said as he walked away, "Wait!" But Heller called out to him as he stopped in place, "Who the fuck are you anyway?" Heller asked angrily. "Mercer, Alex Mercer." He replied as he looked back and finally left while Heller stood up and grabbed his knife as he sheathed it, "Alex Mercer, I'll fucking kill you." He swore once again.

Meanwhile in an underground base,
"So he killed Randall, huh... Then Rooks must be on his way to replace him then or was he always here? I've managed to play Prototype 2 to it's entirety back then so I'm thankful or maybe I'll be the one to replace him." Cyrus sighed in relief. "Still though, the events may be different so I can't count on my knowledge much, due to Alex being a reincarnator, he may not even infect Heller." Cyrus hypothesized.
"But still, to think he would spread the Mercer virus this early. We may not even stand a chance if we don't have any preparation. I'm gambling our chances here, if he infects Heller then the gamble may be worth it, if not then we'll all die." Cyrus concluded, while sitting on his chair.

"Hold them back!" Screamed a marine soldier as he shot the infected trying to overwhelm their base, suddenly a Hydra appeared in the middle of the base as it massacred the soldiers.
Meanwhile in another base, Blackwatch soldiers were firing at the infected as well until they saw a humongous monster similar to a Brawler, with half it's skull showing horizontally while It's one eye in it's right side of it's face looked at the base as it smashed it's boulder like left arm on the street and charged at the base.
The Blackwatch soldier who saw it lost hope and all of them were crushed by the Goliath.
The final base was still standing as multiple Juggernauts attacked and more Brawlers as well, the commander of the base was seeking to retreat until they heard a roar as creatures similar to Brawlers emerged, with it's spike filled back and slightly smaller body. The soldiers then shot them until suddenly the spiked Brawlers charged at them at a speed far faster than a Brawler's, the retreating soldiers were intercepted as well by the spiked Brawlers as the final military base in Manhattan Island was destroyed.
