Caeron's POV

I always hear about mates but I never thought that it can be this serious. Though the legend and stories about mates have different versions. It was still a gift from the Goddess. But the mate I know was already taken away from me... Cara... My beautiful Cara.

"Son, sometimes the Moon Goddess makes a decision we can't understand but still we need to trust her. She never left us in times of our troubles, remember?". My Dad is a very positive person and that's what I really like about him.

I think he is right. It's already ten years and I need to move on. Cara is now a part of my beautiful past and there is a new mate given to me. Whoever she is I will accept her with all of my heart even if she ends up to be EVE. I don't know why I think about her first but there is something about her that pulls my attention as if we were connected from a long time ago.

I still remember what Aiden told me. If Eve became my mate what would I do?.... And I gave him my most stupid answer, that I will reject her. But starts today I will take back what I had just said and eat my pride if I have to. I know they will laugh at me but I don't care. I made a lot of mistakes and I need to repent and paid for them. I am just hoping that if she became my mate, I hope she forgives me. Goddess help me.

The night came and my party started. A lot of people came. My family and I welcome them. Some came from different pack. Aiden also came with his Luna Amy, Eve's cousin. I keep on looking around them but all I see was his Beta and some of his warriors.

"Happy birthday future Alpha Caeron". Aiden extended his hands to me and I shook it.

"Thanks man!". I said.

I looked at Amy and she also greeted me.

"Thanks.... Ahm, where is your cousin?". I asked her and I heard some gasp around. Amy's eyebrows knitted slightly.

"She doesn't feel well since this morning, Alpha". She said almost whispering.

I know Amy doesn't like me. I've been making her cousin's life in school a living hell but I want to tell her that I am going to make amends of all the stupid things I did to Eve but before I can say a thing Naomi crashed her body to mine.

"Happy birthday my Alpha!". She greeted me and pulled my head to her. She kissed me in front of all my guests.

I pushed her a bit and she was surprised. "Never do that again!". I almost shouted at her.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?... I am your Luna, are you trying to humiliate me?". She said out of anger and I was truly pissed.

"How dare you proclaim yourself as my Luna... You are not and will never be my Luna and never ever disrespect me in front of everyone again or I will have you punished!". As I yelled I didn't noticed that I was releasing my Alpha aura and it affects everyone around me.

"Forgive me Alpha. I wasn't myself today". Naomi submitted while shaking in fear.

"Well, that's new!". I heard Aiden said. I looked at him and saw Amy clinging tightly to him.

"I'm sorry... I am in a lot of pressure right now.... Amy?". I want to apologize but Aiden cut me off.

"It's okay.... Anyway we will just look around and leave after". He said while patting Amy's back. I scared her but I didn't mean it.

"Why leave so early?... The party hasn't started yet.... Can you stay for a little more while?". I feel hopeless and helpless at this moment but I wanted to gain Amy's attention. I really need her help.

"My future Luna has been in your house all day, not because I want to but because her parents needs to. I guess it's my time to have her now". Aiden explained to me.

Damn.... The Sanchez are here all day at my house and I didn't even notice.

"Sorry... I didn't know".

"It's okay man... Enjoy your night!". And Aiden's group left.

My party sucks!
