Shallow Hall
Eve's POV
I woke up and it's already morning. I feel my left arm very sore and I am having a fever. I went to my bathroom to check my wound. I took my shirt off slowly and painfully of course. Then check the bandage first. A lot of dried blood was showing.
"They will going to ask a lot of questions if they see you". Yup, I was talking to my wounds. I guess because I am having a terrible fever. I am losing my head.
I cleaned my wound and put fresh bandage on it then as soon as I walked out my bathroom Amy entered my room.
"Eve!". She hopped and tried to hug me. I stopped her with my right hand and hold her face.
She swatted my hand and hugged me. I raised my left arm.
"What's up cutie?".
"Eve... Are you sick?". She said in surprised. She puts the back of her hand to my forehead and her other hand to her. "Oh my God, you are sick!". And she started to yell.
I put my hand to Amy's mouth and her eyes widen. She mumbled something I don't understand I just shush her.
"Please don't tell Aunt Annalee". I gave her a puppy look but her eyebrows knitted. She puts her hands to her waist and made a mumbling sound again. "I have no idea what are you talking about".
She swatted hy hand. "Why didn't you call me and tell me your sick?".
"I'm fine, it's just a little fever!". And I walked back to my bed.
"Fine?.... You are burning for crying out loud!".
"What time did you came home?". I changed the topic and was hoping that she will let go of this little fever of mine.
"Late..... Let's see a doctor". She answered and asked me to go at the same time.
"I will be fine, don't be so worried. All I need is a good rest".
"You already slept for the whole night and you still have a fever!".
I know Amy will going to push this far till she gets what she wants and that is to send me to the doctor. Need to think fast.
"How about make me a chicken soup first then if I still don't feel well I'll go to the doctor with you.... But you have to promise you won't tell Aunt Annalee that I'm sick, okay?". Please agree!... That's what I'm praying now.
"Hmm... Okay!". And she ran out of the room.
Amy brought my food to my room. I feel bad when I found out that she have to lie to Aunt Annalee about my fever. Amy said I'm having a bad cramps or PMS that's why I stayed in my room and of course they will believe her. I'm a bad influence. But I did feel well after.
No one bothered me till it's time to sleep. Amy and her parents are still tired from last night. They went to bed early than usual after seeing me. While I keep tossing from bed.
I kept thinking about what happened yesterday. I saw a wolf turned to a man but for a strange reason it didn't surprise me that much as if I've seen that before. What makes me worried is about ICE. He was killed here in Banes Field and I am wondering what his job here.
I have a lot of questions and I need some answers. I picked up myself from bed and head to my closet for a quick change. I slowly goes down to the garage and took cherry. I need her to take me somewhere.
Almost four hours of ride and I am in a small town that is almost like a city. I parked cherry to a nearby store and walked to a place Maya told me once. SHALLOW HALL club. But before I entered I changed to my over all black leathered suit with a mask on and a hood.
Shallow Hall is a very private club and no one can just enter there. I use my CHIP to enter the club, Maya gave it to me. The world that Maya introduced me is not ordinary. Hunters and Assassins are different and also have different types of chips. This chips will help you to gain information and also to gain a job.
I sat to the bar and order a shot of Bourbon. I handed a chips to him and he simply grabbed it. "Entertain me!". I said to him.
"NIGHT and DAY ... Hunted". He said and my eyes widen. Good thing that I lowered my head in time or people will noticed the shocked on my face. In this kind of place emotion must not be displayed. Maya's instructions.
"Humor me again". I pushed another chips and he handed me a shot of Bourbon again.
"Three o'clock... Wolves.... Nine o'clock Bounty hunters". He said while wiping a shot glass.
I simply looked at my left and saw big guys in black suit. His gun suddenly reflects from when he moved. 'Sloppy guy'. I smirked. From the way he moved, he already revealed how many guns he have. Three on his vest and a sweet senorita at his ankle. Just like the senorita I hid in cherry's body.
I drank my Bourbon whiskey and simply looked to my right side but I was surprised when a good looking guy is staring at me. I can see he is checking me out. I searched the word WOLVES from all the data I personally kept in my brain but I have no fucking idea what they are. An assassin or a hunter?.
The waiter hand me another shot glass of Bourbon but I know I didn't asked for a recharge. "It's on the house". He said. I took and gulped it in one go. Then leave after.
I was already outside heading to cherry when I heard a whistle. My head snapped to the person and was surprised to see who's the guy. It was the so called WOLVES.
"Leaving already?". He asked.
"Do I need to ask permission before I leave?". I snorted at him.
"Not really... But I was just wondering if you would like to hang out for a bit".
As I turned to face him, I saw how he was gazing at my body specially my ass.
"Done eye fucking me?". I glared at him but he just grin at me.
"Nope... But if you stay it won't be just an eye fucking... I'll fuck you hard till you sing my name and get limp". He said and I saw a great lust on his eyes.
"Sorry buddy but I don't think you can handle me, besides I'm too busy to fuck you!". I said those words as if I already been fuck. Oh well, I am a good actress I guess.
I didn't let him say another word. I just rush towards cherry and let her fly to the road. I need to be home before six and I only have three hours till then. I was hoping Aunt Annalee wake up late today so she won't noticed me when I sneak in. And I also have classes because it's already monday.
