Ji Cheng's ears perked up upon hearing Liwei's name from her. He glanced at her and saw her smiling while thinking about something. He couldn't hear clearly what she was saying but he couldn't help but glance at her at the mention of the other man's name.
He remembered that she had told him that Liwei was her husband in her past life as Xie Ming and before she came to Ji Dynasty they were not on good terms to the point that they were planning to separate from each other.
' If their relationship was so bad then why is she smiling while thinking about him?' he wondered and unknowingly clenched his palms into a tight fist.
