~chapter one~

Franks POV

"We'll carry on!" Gerard smiled as he sang the last line of Welcome to the Black Parade. I looked at him and he was already looking at me, we both smiled at each other at the same time. I laughed but he couldn't hear it, only could see my chest go up and down. We had just finished the last show of the tour with Panic! at the Disco and Fall Out Boy.

It had been a lot of fun touring with them, I almost killed Pete, we forgot Ray at seven gas stations, Brendon had his heat early so that was fun to listen to them....ya know. Joe, Andy, and Dallon had a fight over who was the best at Just Dance by playing Just Dance. (Joe won.) Gerard and I perfected the Havana tango, we stayed up until four-thirty a.m. playing it one night. But I think the best part was seeing everyone so happy.

Who am I kidding? The best part was when we were all playing truth or dare and Spencer dared Patrick to see how many cups of free coffee he could get at different Starbucks.

Throughout the whole tour, he got thirty-seven cups of free coffee. He was keeping track and didn't tell us until the tour was over. I think me and Pete had a seizure from laughing so hard when he finally told us.

The worse part is when I, of course, got sick. Sometimes I really hate my immune system. Anyway, I was sick for like five days and Gerard treated me like I couldn't do anything. He made me soup, checked my temperature, made sure I wasn't too hot or cold, and he cuddled with me basically the whole time. The worst part about it was that I had to skip a show. I was pouting the whole time while I was stuck on the tour bus.

Speaking of the tour bus, it was so rad. It was the biggest tour bus I've ever seen. We could all fit comfortably in it. Well I mean with three alphas nothing is really comfortable... Anyway, it's probably on my list of favorite tours I've done. I think we can all say happily that it was a blast but it's time to go home and get back to normal life.

"Hey, babe?" Gerard asks, pulling me out of my thoughts. He has a hand on my arm and he's looking at me with concern on his face.

"Yea? What's wrong?" I ask as I look around at everyone staring at me. "Why are you all looking at me?" I probably put a little too much aggressiveness into my voice.

They all just look at each other not answering my question. "Pete said your name three times and you didn't answer. You looked like you were zoned out," Patrick pipes up.

"Oh sorry I was just thinking. What's up Pete?" I ask looking at my best friend that I've known since we've been four.

"I bet I can beat you to the tour bus," Pete looks at me with a smirk on his face. I don't take a second to hesitate before I get up and start sprinting to the bus. Ryan does the same thing, being an alpha, and needing to prove himself. Ryan and I already far ahead of Pete because Brendon stuck his leg out and tripped Pete. I scolded myself for not seeing Pete fall flat on his face.

I look back and see that Patrick is checking Pete out making sure he's not hurt. Pete looks at me and he's pouting because he just lost his own bet. But I need to focus or I'm gonna lose. Me and Ryan and running at the same speed and are keeping up with each other. I almost run into a wall of the arena backstage area. We keep going, Ryan a little in front of me now. I catch up at the turn though, he has a shocked look on his face when I pass him completely. I could hear Gerard and Brendon cheering us on, way in the distance. We were finally at the end of the building and I could see the doors that led outside. It was dark outside, but I could see because of the tour bus lights and the ones over the doors. I needed to really push myself if I wanted to win.

And I did. I started taking longer strides and moving my arms faster. My pants were so close to falling off my hips. I was getting ahead of him. We're so close to the tour bus doors.

"BAM! I WIN SUCKA!" I jump up and down and I rub my knuckles back and forth on his skull while I have him in a headlock. He keeps trying to get out and hit me in the face. He eventually does, he hits me square in the nose, making it bleed a bit. I finally let him out of the headlock and stare at him in astonishment. He stares back at me with a hard face, but you can tell he's a little scared. I can see it in his eyes.

"Oh now you're gonna get it," I said in a low voice as I start running towards him. He starts running at me too. We're both just having an adrenaline rush, nothing serious. He throws the first punch, but I caught it easily. I really don't understand why Pete and Ryan try fighting me. Pete's only won twice and Ryan won once. I mean I get it. Three alphas in one pack? Somethings bound to go wrong.

As I'm holding his fist, I hit him in the stomach and all I get is a mumbled grunt. I let his fist go, and the second I do he's swinging at me with his left hand. I don't catch it in time. Damn, that's gunna bruise. He hit me right on my cheekbone, I stumbled back a bit, but came right back at him with a harder punch. RIght as I throw the punch, the doors open and everyone else walks out.

CRACK. Shit.

I broke his nose, I can see the blood starting to pour down his face. And everyone was watching. At least I was beaten up too. I could already feel my cheek swelling up. I didn't want to deal with everyone, so all I heard was lots of voices saying varying things.

"WHAT THE FUCK FRANK?" Brendon

"Oh geez not this again..." Joe

"Frank are you okay?" Gerard

"Fuck you Brendon. I missed another fight." Pete

"Damn. Ryan are you okay?" Dallon

"Ryan do you want me to call someone?" Patrick

"Guys, they're fine. They're alphas." Mikey

"Mikey is right guys." Ray

Then everything went black.
