Annoying boys

Aria rolled her eyes and went back to playing with water.

She did not notice Joseph opening her braid as the braid was loosely tied and opened almost on its own as he silently pulled out the rubber band. Moreover, Aria had turned her body so that her back was to Joseph.

But for no apparent reason, Aria decided to make the water go around her.

It was at this moment that she realised that her hair were open and Joseph, to her horror, held a lock in his hands.

Aria immediately stood up, her expression dark. This led to the lock sliding out of Joseph's hands and he looked disappointed.

Aria managed to spin the words through grinded teeth, "What are you doing?"

Joseph sat back and said, "Don't overreact. This was not such a big issue."

Aria's face grew more dark and the temperature seemed to drop a few degrees. Joseph shivered though it was quite sunny. He realised that Aria was truly angry and tried to defend himself, "Oh come on. It's not that big of a deal. It was not like I was touching you inappropriately."

Aria really wanted to kill this rude boy then and there. She almost lifted her hand to slap him. But, as usual, her mother's words rung in her ear and Aria took a few deep breaths.

After she had calmed down a lot, Aria said, "Don't ever dare to talk to me again." And she whipped around with so much force that her open hair touched Joseph's cheeks, and stormed off.

After she was gone, Joseph touched his cheek and mumbled, "I was right. Her hair smells really nice. But it seems like I pissed her off."

Aria stormed off towards the academy, tying her hair in a high ponytail with an extra rubber band. As she tucked some loose strands behind her ear, she mumbled, "How dare that rude boy touch my hair. The only person apart from me who are allowed to do so are Mom, mother and Penny."

Thinking this name, Aria's thoughts drifted to all the memories she had with Penny. Aria wondered if Penny's child was all right, and what did it look like by now. All these thoughts considerably calmed her down by the time she came out of the forest. Aria looked at the huge castle that was the academy and suddenly wanted to go up to it's roof. She could take the stairs from the inside, but that would just lead her to the top floor, not the roof.

A devilish smirk came upon Aria's lips as she had a great idea. Aria looked around to check if anyone was looking as she had decided to use wind bending to fly up to the roof.

But she caught sight of Jacob, who was heading her way.

He caught upto Aria and said with a smile, "Hey, I was looking everywhere for you."

Aria remembered how he had left her alone with Harper and she said, crossing her arms, "Why? Need to dump someone else's luggage on me?"

Jacob gave a nervous laugh, "Oh, I'm sorry about that. I could not bear to stay any longer with her."

Aria: "So you thought the best way was to throw me in the water?"
