Horrible memories

Jacob tried to lighten the mood, "I would never throw you in the water. What will I answer to Victor and Sonia if you caught a cold?"

Aria rarely ever got frustrated, but today these boys were getting on her nerves.

She said, "Fine. Do whatever you want."

Saying this this twirled her fingers and to Jacob's immense surprise, flew into the air.

Many of the students that studied in the academy or had taken admission, were out on the grounds today as it was a nice, warm day.

The term was about to start so most of the students had come.

So naturally, many people saw a beautiful girl with long blonde hair flying in the air. Many of them even though that she was an angel. Even the teachers were surprised to see that a girl, who had not even started her training yet, could bend wind so good.

In that way, Aria caused a huge commotion as she flew and landed on the roof of the castle.

From below, she heard Jacob calling, "Hey Aria, that's not fair. I wanna come too."

Aria sighed as she also made Jacob fly, all the way from the ground to the roof.

She heard Jacob exclaiming, "This is soooo good Aria. I did not know you could do this. When did you learn it. You've got to teach me!!" Aria let out a chuckle and thought that now she only needed to hide her fire bending. For the rest, she could do and learn here.

As Jacob landed lightly on the roof, he struggled to control his balance and then rushed up to where Aria was sitting.

He sat down beside her and said, "That was so cool. How did you do that."

Aria turned her face the other way and said, "I'm still angry at you. And if you don't manage to dissipate my anger, I might just leave you here."

Jacob was immediately flustered and began to try all the methods he knew to make Aria laugh.

But he could not do it, no matter how much he tried. After trying for a long time, Jacob decided to perform the funny dance that always made Aria laugh. He stood up and had not moved three steps when his foot slipped.

Jacob let out a shriek and Aria looked towards him in horror. All the memories of when Penny fell nine years ago began to come back to her.

Aria tried to catch the falling Jacob but she was not in her right mind, and he slipped out of her wind. Penny's scream began to echo in Aria's mind and all the horrible memories of the castle, that she had locked away, came rushing back to her.

Suddenly, Jacob screamed Aria's name and she was pulled from her thoughts. Aria gave herself a tight slap on the cheek which seemed to do the trick. She closed her eyes, twirled her fingers, and managed to stop Jacob just a few feet from the ground.

After he had safely landed, Aria also came down and hugged Jacob who was sitting on the ground.

She sobbed, "Don't.... don't scare me like that. Ever again. Ever."
