Alter Ego

The prideful Icarus is a type of ego that can harm humans physically, the only type of ego who can both mentally and physically challenge a person. The alters are very dangerous, as they are the result of a human's powerful desire.

Sue is still dreaming about her Earth life. Everything that she did to make others feel inferior just to put her in a pedestal all comes back to her. In that dream, Icarus wants her to remember who she is and stay that way by showing her all the good consequences she gained. As soon as she wakes up from her slumber, there's a high chance of Sue letting Icarus devour her existence. If by any chance the human will fight back, the alter and the their human will end up in a physical battle and whoever kills the other will win. As much as possible, the alters do not want to engage in a physical fight. The alter and its human shares the same soul existence, so it is going to be very difficult if both of them drains themselves down to the very last existence they possess.

As Sue stays in her dreams, Jae, Sven, and Nikita are battling with Icarus in the sky island. With its gold arms that can modify into various weapons, and mobility, they had a hard time laying a direct attack. The three of them didn't use their existence for fighting this time, they want to save it until they reach the memory crystal.

"We need to wake Sue up!" Sven told the other two, while evading and blocking Icarus' forceful attacks.

Nikita is worried. As Sue might just let this alter consume her. She knows Sue lives with her pride her whole life, it is something that she is not hiding to anyone. If on Earth was she let herself get the better of her, it might happen here too.

The alter will weaken if its human tries to forget its being, or even just try to ignore all of its instigating and provoking.

After several minutes of nonstop battling with Icarus, Sue finally awakens. The sin of pride quickly goes to Sue's location and fly to the back of the whale. Icarus' face brightened, seemingly wanting to hear some good news from its human but as soon as Sue opened her mouth to say something, Icarus' facial expression became full of anger.

"You can't do this to me! I am with you for a very long time!" It screamed, and the others saw it's positioning itself to launch an attack agaisnt Sue, so they hurriedly run to her rescue. As Icarus held her up high from the whale's back with its wings flying to the sky, Sue tells to its face,

"I don't want to see you again." She smiled back to the alter's crumpled face.
